Antsanitia Resort ★★★★

"I recently stayed in a bungalow at this resort, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. When I first arrived, I discovered that the shower was broken. The pipe had a hole in it that sprayed water directly at my face, making it unusable. The Internet was not working either. Despite their efforts to improve it by placing a hotspot in my room, the internet was completely useless. If you need to conduct any online business, this is not the place for you. The door connecting to the outside did not reach the floor, so I had to push a towel against it every day to keep insects from entering. The bungalow itself was outdated, and there was no comfortable place to relax inside except for the bed. The only other piece of furniture was a hard plastic chair, which was far from inviting. If you plan to bring a tablet or laptop for entertainment, don't bother because the internet simply doesn't work. Additionally, the resort provides only two small bottles of water on the first day, with no replenishments afterward. This was quite inconvenient, especially considering the remote location of the resort. Speaking of location, the resort is extremely difficult to reach. You must travel down a dirt road for many miles, which can be quite challenging. The only positive aspect of my stay was the restaurant staff. They were kind and caring, providing excellent service. However, this was not enough to make up for the numerous issues I encountered. Overall, I cannot recommend this resort based on my experience. The bungalow was uncomfortable, the amenities were lacking, and the internet was non-functional. If you decide to stay here, be prepared for these challenges."

"The hotel being full at the time of our stay in Majunga, we were not able to visit the rooms. On the other hand, we frequented the hotel restaurant with assiduity. The cuisine is truly remarkable and the prices are completely reasonable for a hotel of this standard. Magnificent view of the ocean. Superb indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The spa is also splendid and the massages are a real treat. During our visit the President of Madagascar was staying there. That says it all..."

"The staff are very helpful and the bungalows are spacious and the bedroom is of good quality, with mosquito and functional air conditioning, which allows you to not suffer from the warmth of the night. In the safe side, each room has a strong, very convenient safe for those travelling in groups and who do not share the same room. The breakfast is quite classic but copiel according to the chosen formula and the convenient restaurant, even if a few dozens of meters away hotel offers a better quality and choice. One of the advantages for international travellers is acceptance of bank card payments, which avoids having to walk with banknote links. The hotel also can organise various activities such as quad exits, sea walks or visits to the city in tuk-tuk."
