My daughter got a parasite from the pools. I wasn’t going to write a review of this hotel, as I was with mixed feelings - mostly on the positive side, however several really bad experiences, but after a parasite called “giardia” was identified, I couldn’t stay quiet. 1. Deluxe rooms - not much deluxe about it, quite simple, a little outdated, very fat from the main part of the hotel and the beaches. 2. Food - plentiful, but very standard. No smoked salmon for breakfast, but the Turkish night menu was amazing. 3. Pools - the water wasn’t warm all days, so the kids had either cold or warm water, but can’t know which one will be. Also parasites, as mentioned above. Beware. 4. It’s extremely expensive in the hotel shops, don’t forget anything. I had to buy shampoo and conditioner (the rooms ones were horrible) and costed an arm and a leg. Diapers, snacks, anything, bring it from wherever you’re coming from. 5. Bars - the deluxe one was nice and enjoyed having a coffee and a cocktail there. 6. Restaurants - the steak house was below average, but the Chinese was a disaster. Avoid at all cost. 7. Service - mostly people don’t speak English, but better than several years ago. Mostly a little rude, especially in the Chinese restaurant. Mostly because it was overcrowded. Otherwise, nice people.
