Bogen Hostel

The only unique but real false note of our trip to Norway. Stopover on the way back from the Lofoten Islands. A sort of isolated youth hostel on the edge of the E10 with abandoned caravans in front. The only asset claimed by the establishment is the view of a Fjord. In the Lofoten Islands there are much better ones however. We were housed in a barracks annexed to the main building which was probably quieter. A basic room sold with bathroom, sink and a shower but no water in winter because the pipes are frozen at this time! To empty the toilets a water bottle is provided. Glamour. For the shower it’s 50m in the snow with the towel under your arm to the main building. No reception, keys are collected in a box with a room number communicated in advance by SMS. Just after my arrival around 5 p.m., I contacted the owner who came by in the evening to collect the money. Complaint from me to booking. She lied to the agent who called her back saying that she had moved us rooms and that everything was arranged. In fact we never saw her again. The low price does not justify everything. Dishonest establishment.

Nous avions réservé 2 chambres pour une nuit via le site booking. Arrivés a l hotel a 19h30 ,la proprietaire ne nous fait pas rentrzr et nous propose de dormir dans une caravane sur le parking sur le bord de la route!!! Nous refusons car nous avons réservé et payé 2 chambres avec vue sur la mer. La proprietaire ne veut rien entendre et refuse d annuler notre reservation. Nous devons faire appel a l assistance *********** afin de nous faire rembourser. Nous avons du trouver a 21h le soir un hotel pour la nuit.... lors de l appel de booking a la proprietaire, celle ci fait croire qu elle ne parle que thailandais alors qu elle s est adressée a nous en anglais !! Cet Hotel est une grosse arnaque et ne devrait pas être sur des sites recommandés !!!
