The Carlton Hotel

A victorian building right on the seafront, great location for the shops, beach, theatre etc. Room was clean, very comfortable bed, all mod cons and a sea view, but room, on the second floor,was reached by a steep staircase. No one available to assist with luggage. The Aviator bar was closed throughout, no breakfasts served and the bar , which was open when we arrived (Sunday afternoon) as a football match was on the TV, was closed by the evening. As we were only there for two nights this didn't matter to us. The room only price was very reasonable.
