staff was great ,was a very safe place to stay ,management was always around and friendly ,great place for couples we had a great 9 days, .the beach is clean and needs more lounge chairs on the beach and change the beer lounge to a regular lounge for after hours (9 pm) to have a drink or glass of wine with some music ,very clean ,WILL BE BACK

I heard that all Koreans are in Henan, but there are a lot of them here too~~ But still, the overall accommodation felt quiet and relaxed! The staff was really friendly and the facilities were clean and nice! The breakfast is not delicious. There isn't much variety. Just eat bread. Haha. If I come to Bohol again next time, this is an accommodation I want to come back to.

We recently stayed at the Mithi for one week on November and it was a beautiful hotel to stay at, the pool and views are beautiful, we did snorkelling just off the beach the hotel has a boat and they will take you out to the reef which is really good, the rooms are cleaned great, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful they are all great, the food is very nice but you do need to add a few more vegetarian options to the menu, there is not much around so you do need to rent a motor bike or pay for a tuk tuk to see the island, I would definitely recommend staying here, Thankyou for a great holiday! The staff don't seem to have any training or are all in training i.e. trainees. I found it really hard to get anything accomplished asking for ice too for ages then when I did saying a 50 peso bill for ice 🙄 the pool is small but you do get your own beach access and the location is quite as compared to the main part of the town which is too much noise and party. I really liked the rooms and decor it felt modern and clean The breakfast was ok just make sure to ask for what ever you want to be cooked fresh as the food left out is cold and or been left for long time. The gym is good but could do with some more equipment. Local shops are by the entrance for cheaper snacks and drinks

Nice people, it was fun with the birthday celebration, the band was ok.. It was our second time stays. Still we will come back again next year. Don't expect luxurious stay but it was a feeling of being in a home in front of the beach. The pool was good, though I don't like the idea of no lifeguard no swimming policy especially if you are an adult, you can't swim in the night anymore which is kinda unfair and boring...

We stayed here for the seventh time while visiting relatives nearby. We understand the resort is in new ownership and regrettably standards have dropped. Our room was very clean, but, unlike previous visits, lacked an easy chair in the room and only had a blanket with no top sheet on the bed, which we found very unsatisfactory. The pool which has previously been sparkling clean on each visit, was cloudy throughout our stay and with the surrounds was getting quite rundown. The menu now offers a significantly reduced range of unexciting food although the quality was good. The staff, as usual, were exceptional - very friendly, well presented and efficient. Despite these drawbacks, the resort offers good value and the location a short walk to Alona Beach is very convenient.

I stayed at this place with my wife for 5 nights. We are long term travelers. - location: the hotel is a bit far off, you will need to rent a scooter at the hotel to explore the area. Currently, roadworks makes the access a bit difficult but possible - staff: lovely staff that genuinely takes care about you. The receptionist (Sam) was really helpful with transportation advice as well as for any other query. - rooms: rooms are spacious and serviced daily. The AC works well and is silent (any long term traveler will know the value of this). There are blackout curtains and the beds are quite comfy - food: we loved the food at this place. The menu clearly displays the German ownership of the hotel and the portions are European sized but local food is available as well. - surroundings: the pool is clean and very nice, the area is surrounded by resident bungalows to which you have no access. All in all the hotel is value for money, certainly partly due to its location...

Definitely not my favourite hotel - in fact I left after the first night of my 3 night booking & forfeited my payment for the remaining nights. BED... If you like sleeping on a FIRM bed similar to a timber floor, then the bed will suit you fine. If you prefer a more luxurious softer bed then book a different hotel. Even when Housekeeping put 2 comforters between the bed & the sheet, it was still HARD. BATHROOM Again very different to usual Filipino standards. On the bed were 2 face washers & 2 towels (about the size of typical western hand towels), plus in the bathroom was 2 ”Bath Towels” (narrow long flimsy open weave fabric) for exfoliating your body not drying it. Getting dry after the shower was definitely a challenge. BREAKFAST For a westerner, there was no cereal to start the day. The buffet containers for both the fried eggs & the back were empty, so I asked if they could be replenished. The hostess immediately went to the kitchen & promptly returned with a plate of fried eggs & another plate of bacon. I thought YIPPEE, I will have fresh hot breakfast, but I was sadly disappointed as both the eggs & the bacon were cold - obviously left on a bench in the kitens after being cooked sometime earlier. If you want butter to go with your sweet toast, you have to ask for it. Vegemite on sweet toast is a strange taste. Cappucino coffee is NOT included in breakfast. POWER OUTLETS If you have travelled to the Philippines you will know that their power outlets are two flat vertical pins. NOT HERE, they are the Korean recessed circular pins which made charging my devices a challenge. Thankfully reception had Korean/Filipino adapters. POOL It was nice!
