I planned a 5-day, 4-night trip to Bohol and stayed at two hotels. Choosing BW for the third and fourth nights was truly shocking. On the day we checked in, our itinerary ran until after 8 PM, followed by dinner and a massage, so we didn't get to our room until 11 PM. After a shower, I just crashed and didn't pay much attention. The next morning, I woke up early, went to the restaurant for breakfast, and then came back to the room for a short rest. The housekeeping staff had already made the bed (I'm not sure if they changed the sheets or just tidied them up). Suddenly, I saw a bloodstain on the bottom edge of the sheet! I was absolutely disgusted, thinking I might have slept under that comforter last night. It's truly outrageous for a four-star resort hotel to have such quality.

The room confort is good but the noisy of the air condition is annoying. The pool area is small and no (beach) umbrella. Never seen in my life pool area w/o umbrela. Breakfast could be improved. The positive is the hotel staff, good and lovely people.

The backdoor opens right onto Alona Beach, but to get to the main street from the front, you have to navigate a winding, muddy path. The staff's service is inconsistent.

We had a lovely stay. We love the sea view balcony. They also have live band and serving delicious food. We had a fabulous dinner and drinks. Breakfast buffet was so good. Staffs were very accommodating. Room is very spacious and comfortable. We had some issues with the bed linens but they were able to respond immediately in our concern.

We love the room sizes. It has a great layout. There is a separation between the bath and bed, which we find very convenient. :) Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Food has a variety of good dishes. Kiddie Swimming pool and play area for the kids. There is also a gym and spa. Indeed a beach front resort.
