We spent one night here and just finding the hotel is a bit of an adventure. The hotel is not visible from the main road and is not signposted anywhere. So you have to use the satnav, which takes you through the public car park of the "Golden Horn" directly to a ramp. Even here there is no sign for the hotel to show you that you are on the right path. After a round to the city and back, we called while standing at the ramp to ask for directions. The answer was that we were right, someone from the hotel would be coming on foot to open the ramp. There is no intercom on the ramp so that you can reach the hotel, or someone to open the ramp from a distance. That is utter nonsense. On the instructions of the reception, we then waited at the ice cream stand in front of the supposed hotel. Even standing in front of it, it was not labelled or recognizable as such. Check-in: Gabi was super warm and friendly at a reception that is not one, but a makeshift anteroom/storage room. Beforehand, you park your car up on the mountain and walk back down to reception, and then go back up the mountain to your room after checking in. Contrary to the pictures on the homepage, which promise a direct sea view, the rooms are located behind the car park, as far away from the sea as possible - let alone that you can see it. The rooms have been renovated, but were shot with a wide angle or edited because they look much bigger in the photos. The whole thing is very reminiscent of camping, as they are not real rooms, but bungalows placed next to each other. The rooms are separated by cardboard walls and are very thinly soundproof, you can hear everything from the next and next-but-one neighbors. You can also hear every maneuver in the car park and see the glare of the lights in the room. There are no blinds, just transparent curtains. The bathroom is very small. Breakfast: It is utter nonsense and does not deserve the name. The whole room is made up of makeshift items, with poor quality food and a lack of choice. The coffee is the rubbish of the century. The view of the Golden Horn from the restaurant/breakfast terrace is of course amazing. Conclusion: The only thing you pay for here is the view and the short walk to the beach. Considering the price, the false pictures, the subterranean breakfast, you are left with nothing but disappointment. Price/performance horror. Better to sleep somewhere else and drive to the public car park at the Golden Horn, you will have more to gain from it.
