Villa Daniela
"Hotel Villa Daniela is very well located in Bol. Our room was very small, so it was a bit cramped with two carry-on suitcases. The bathroom was big enough for that. The room was clean, but the air conditioning kept turning on and off (we don't know where the temperature sensor was in the room), which made the room very warm at times. In general, the facilities are a bit old, but the hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very good."
Bluesun Holiday Village Bonaca - Full Board
"Our holiday was amazing, thanks to the hospitality of the team and management. The room was very good, cleaned daily, the food was excellent. Also I would like to give a special thank you to Filip, the animator of the hotel for his time and consideration to help us make the best of our holiday by making arrangements and helping us explore the island."
Bluesun Hotel Borak
"Arrived on 31/5/26 and staying till 7/6/26. Hotel has improved dramatically since we last visited in June 1990, for our first wedding anniversary. We tried to book to stay for the following year (1991). Unfortunately all travel was cancelled due to the war. The hotel is in the same place, but the building has been rebuilt and the standard of decor is excellent quality. Marble floors and clean walls with huge pot planted trees make it very easy to look at and relaxing. Our room overlooks the swimming pool and through the pine trees you can see the sea. The bathroom is spotless with nonslip tiles inside the shower stall. The room is tidied daily and you leave your towels on the floor of the shower stall if you want them replaced. We have a balcony with two chairs and a table and a towel rail for wet swimming gear. There is nothing built to block the view. The marble promenade has been relaid and extended to allow the fit among you to walk left to the harbour and centre of Bol. Or right to the famous Zlatni Rat beach. Now we cannot walk very far at all, so we stay around the hotel during the day and walk very slowly to the Noa Beach Bar/Restaurant in the evenings. We only booked on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfasts are buffet style and well stocked with fresh produce. The hot breakfasts are well cooked and the Chef will cook you a delicious omelette on request, all whilst he restocks the scrambled and fried eggs. We booked the evening buffet for our Anniversary dinner and found it very enjoyable. Again very well stocked and replenished regularly. I’m allergic to gluten and found it easy to find food safe for me to eat. The pool bar serves cold and hot drinks throughout the day and evening, with plenty of lounge chairs both inside and outside. The restaurant serves the odd snacks at lunchtime mainly pizza and french fries, but there are many places within walking distance for people to try a more varied menu for lunch. Again as a couple who can’t walk far at all, we were happy to stay around the hotel. The staff are excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable. They managed to make us feel welcome and happy on arrival and helped us sort out a slight hiccup with our air conditioning instantly getting it working. The pool is looked after by Sebastian who initially swapped our towel cards for beach towels on the first day and then he remembered us after that, ensuring me a place in the shade etc. Residents are asked not to reserve sun loungers with their own property and I think this makes for a happier atmosphere around the pool. There are plenty of spare sunbeds stacked ready for newcomers and umbrellas and towels ready to be handed out. I have to give a shout out to the Receptionist on our arrival and the Maintenance Team Member who helped us initially. Also the girls in the pool bar who make the most delightful iced cocoa. Finally Elvira in the restaurant who attended to our every need daily. We traveled on a package tour with JET2 from "
Hotel Sol
"Perfect stay in Bol. Walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Very comfortable, good pool to refresh after a full day exploring the island. Good breakfast. Can't recommend another place to stay in Bol."
Zlatni Rat Beach Resort
"Katarina and Darsan were great, amazing hospitality and service. As were all the staff at the Zlatni Rat Resort. The hotel should be a 5-stat hotel, not 4. We will definitely be coming back. Amazing experience. Right on the beach, no complaints."
Villa Azzurra
"I have stayed with my son and daughter in law at this beautiful place. Dog friendly with breathtaking views. Place is located a bit high from the main village and you have to take stairs up and down to the beach , but it only takes 5 min. Main beach and attractions are just on the door step. Staff is very friendly. What prompted me to write a review is their kindness and readiness to go a step further to please their guests. On our last day , my son left a present for me, souvenir from Brac stone , on the floor and it stayed behind. We were rushing to catch the ferry for Split. No time to go back. I really wanted it, considering it was a present from my son. I contacted the Villa Azzure and asked them if they could locate my present and send it on first ferry to Mskarska and I would be on receiving end. They agreed and texted me the details with timings and picture of the ship. I could not believe when I received it💗💗. That is really hugely appreciated. Thats how guests should be treated. Once again - many thanks and highly recommended"
Boutique Hotel Bol
"The friendly guidance and assistance from the hotel reception staff were impressive. The only inconvenience was that the room was a bit small. The breakfast was also excellent."
Lifestyle Hotel Vitar
"5 mins away from Borak beach, down an easy small hill road . The rooftop had. A good breeze even during summer heatwave temperatures and rooftop pool had amazing views"
Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa
"Wonder vocation and comfortable stay! They have everything for the family relaxing holidays! I love the option of evening buffet at the restaurant. It gives more options for a family of 5. No drinking water- you can use water from sink. Don’t leave the food in the room, we experienced ants attack:). Overall, it was very good!"

Apartments Villa Jadranka Adults Only
"Very nice apartments, very well maintained and equipped in a very convenient location to all the main attractions in Bol. Very nice pool and surroundings. Very friendly and helpful owners. Supermarket only a 5 min walk away. Would definitely recommend."
Villa Valentina
"Google maps is generally our trusted guide, but this time we got lost in the maze of narrow alleys in Bol. Our host had sent out special instructions, which we entered, but we still got somewhat off target and had to ask around locally. Once we found the place, the parking lot is spacious, although it lacks shade. Our hostess gave us a useful introduction to the area and a helpful map. The location is very convenient with only a short walk to restaurants and cafes. The beach requires a longer walk, but goes through a smooth pedestrian walkway with good shade. Beach towels were kindly provided. Not surprisingly, this kind of place draws big crowds during peak season. Unfortunately the TV didn't work since a storm had nocked out the connection. We learned this only after considerable testing of remote control options. That would normally not be of significance, but we missed a quarter final in the Women's European Championship that we had looked forward to watching. The kitchen was well equipped. There was no in-room safe."
Villa Mediterranea
"Stayed for 5 nights at Villa Mediterranea. We had a double room overlooking the pool. The room was comfy, had a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom. The whole place was scrupulously clean and very comfortable. The small staff team were incredibly helpful. Led by Mel who was friendly, flexible and helpful (he lugged our ridiculously heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs!). The Villa is a 10 minute stroll from the very lovely harbour side and a similar 10 minute stroll in the other direction to Zlatni Rat. There is a decent beach seconds away from the Villa. Breakfast every morning is homemade, tasty and plentiful. The only issue my wife and I had was the slightly small shower cubicle (we are both over 6 feet tall). We can thoroughly recommend Villa Mediterannea"
Bretanide Sport & Wellness Resort - All Inclusive
"We spent a week at the Bretanide. The pools are nice and there's enough space for everyone in the hotel. We didn't go to the beach because the pools are small, everyone is crammed together, and we don't like that. The beaches are pebbly, not rocky, just pebbles. The buffet is nice but a bit too greasy for my taste. The drinks are watered down. On the last day, we put everything in the room to make the cleaning lady's job easier… surprise! The cleaning was only superficial; there was a ton of dust under the beds, as well as belongings from the previous guests… The staff only speaks German or English. Okay, there are a lot of markets, as mentioned in other reviews, but they're wide. Not easy with suitcases, but manageable. I wouldn't recommend it for people with mobility issues because it's difficult with luggage. Of course, you can always ask for help, but only in German or English. The hotel is well located. There's a small train every 30 minutes to Bol, but you can also walk there in 15 minutes via the pedestrian path, which is also used by bicycles and scooters. Bring cash, as the stalls on the esplanade require it. There are ATMs all along the way (be aware of bank fees, which vary depending on the bank). We had a pleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend it to French speakers who don't speak a word of another language."
