"On the whole the hotel was lovely, the staff very helpful. The downside for me was the shampoo was up high for people having a shower, so when in the bath I could not reach, it was screwed in so I could not bring it down to the bath. Having not long had a hip replacement standing up in the bath to reach the shampoo was not an option. There is no air conditioning in the room, there is a fan, but it did not cool the room. I hear that the hotel is going to be under new management at some point this year and they will be refurbishing the rooms, so hopefully they will install air conditioning. Also, there was no safe in the room for valuables. The breakfast was a buffet style, and was warm not hot, and with the air conditioning on, the food went cold which was a shame. We did dine one evening and the food was really nice. We used the pool facilities and jacuzzi, very nice experience. I loved my room it was a good size, massive bed, and a fridge, which was handy for cold water etc. If you needed extra tea, milk etc the staff would sort it for you."

"I have been a regular of the longship for over 30yrs and on the last occasion i was told i was barred for no apparent reason. I am shocked and disgusted with the behaviour of some of the staff and the poor managent. A number of my freinds have since boycotted the place. I have an impecable record for my behaviour and have never been so insulted in my life. Avoid the longship at all costs."

"The best part of this hotel is having lots of parking space. The price is good for the quality and the convenient location of the room. The bathroom is recently done to good quality and the room is very spacious. One thing that worth mentioning is, we recommend the hotel to install sensors lighting at the front of entrance to improve security. We also recommend having separate entrance for the hotel accomodation and the current entrance that is right next to the function room. There was a wedding party on the night that we stay so the lobby, which is right next to the function room and is also the only bar in the hotel is filled with kids running around and guest from the wedding. There is also groups of drunk guest smoking at the front of the entrance which due to insufficient lighting and single entrance on site, we have to walk past them every time we leave or enter the building. We believe the experience can be improved by the above suggestions."

"The shower drain in my room was clogged, but the front desk quickly sent someone to fix it. There were only a few tissues left in the tissue holder in the bathroom. It was very noisy outside the hotel. Due to my tinnitus, I really needed a quiet room. I looked at three rooms and chose the one that was relatively quiet. The service was okay, but the staff seemed a bit annoyed during the room change process. The room itself was quite spacious and had a refrigerator. The public restrooms were also big enough. Breakfast was too expensive, so I decided to skip it. There was a loud noise whenever I took a shower. The facilities are a bit old. It's fine for a one-night stay, but I won't be staying here again."
