Grand Hotel Majestic Gia' Baglioni

Bologna City Center Bologna|0.88km from Botanical Garden and Herbarium
The hotel is located on the main road of Bologna, across the road from the Cathedral. On the day of the check-in, a grand religious celebration is held, as it is close to the road and you can walk through the road to feel. The room is large, especially the bathroom, and it is no exaggeration to say that you can dance inside. There is an emergency alarm rope near the toilet and the shower. I have pulled two times in the unknown. I have to call the security immediately and need no assistance. It is quite professional and safe. The bathroom accessories are famous Italian brands, the quality is very good, they are brought back to China after they have not been used up, especially like it. The breakfast room was slightly crowded and the dishes were average, but there were even porridge dishes. Later, I learned that there were Japanese monks and local religious groups to hold a friendly relationship and cooperation ceremony during the stay. It was very interesting to walk from the hotel. The restaurant waiter also asked us about Chinese tastes and Chinese cuisine. Although the English communication between the two sides could not convey the essence of Chinese food, they communicated clearly with the help of the body language and imagination. The breakfast was really good. A cultural exchange platform, the restaurant waiter is also very friendly. In general, although it is not the best hotel in Italy, it is also a great place to experience.

Dopa Hostel

Bologna City Center Bologna|0.12km from Botanical Garden and Herbarium
This hostel gets a 5 out of 5 vote from me and you won't find anyone as fussy as me when it comes to hostel reviews. I don't understand the mixed reviews it has been given by people staying here at the same time as myself? The staff are very friendly and help you as much as possible.....a special shout out to Ciara who is very lovely. My room was very clean and my bunk had a charging point, night light and curtain. The only minor problem are the lockers are small and square so you can't really get anything in them - they need changing to bigger ones! The meeting area is just a ten foot square area next to the reception desk with only around six seating places and likewise the kitchen area is also small with a single long table for breakfast that can only seat around twelve people at any one time. The main reasons for this is the hostel is small overall and also only has three shower rooms with the toilets housed within these rooms. This can be very annoying because if you're dying to use the toilet and all three showers are being used, you cannot gain access. The breakfast is substantial as it's an all you can eat comprising of tea, coffee and orange juice. To eat you have fruits, yogurt, ham, salami, cheese and salad. For the English pallet you have different cereals, toast, cakes, biscuits and the use of butter, jam and chocolate spreads. There's also a coffee perculator which can be used at anytime during the day. Within the kitchen there's a large fridge to store your own personal food items if you wish. You are expected to wash up all your items after you finish which is no big deal but something I don't agree with on principle. I'm on holiday and I've paid for my B&B so I don't expect to do their job for them - maybe that's just me? The location of the hostel is very good and within easy reach of the main city centre and tourist attractions with various buses a two minute walk from the front door and the main railway station just a fifteen minute walk away

Hotel University

Bologna City Center
We booked the hotel wg which is close to the student neighborhood. It is also walking away from the historic center, so optimal for beautiful dressing and restaurants as well as sightseeing. Nevertheless it is very quiet in the street. The price/performance ratio was correct. The room was OK, but above all very clean. The only “beauty error” is the dressing box, which was already very repairable. There was little room and the shafts need urgent renewal. The staff at the reception and breakfast area were very friendly. Equally in room service. Breakfast buffet was always filled and was appropriate. There is a small bar in the lobby. The hotel is recommendable. We would book it again.

We visited Bologna for the first time, and spent seven nights in Hotel Accademia and had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, and overlooked the courtyard so it was quiet. I enjoyed the location of the hotel, in the center and close to the university. The area had a great vibe and lots of energy, but I did not feel as though it was too busy or too loud at night. It was an easy walk to the center and lots of shopping, sites to visit, bars and restaurants. The staff was very friendly throughout the stay, helpful, and took great care of us at breakfast time. I love the typical Italian breakfast, and the options and coffees were perfect! A very pleasant stay indeed.
