Grand Hotel Majestic Gia' Baglioni

Bologna City Center Bologna|0.41km from Quadrilatero
The hotel is located on the main road of Bologna, across the road from the Cathedral. On the day of the check-in, a grand religious celebration is held, as it is close to the road and you can walk through the road to feel. The room is large, especially the bathroom, and it is no exaggeration to say that you can dance inside. There is an emergency alarm rope near the toilet and the shower. I have pulled two times in the unknown. I have to call the security immediately and need no assistance. It is quite professional and safe. The bathroom accessories are famous Italian brands, the quality is very good, they are brought back to China after they have not been used up, especially like it. The breakfast room was slightly crowded and the dishes were average, but there were even porridge dishes. Later, I learned that there were Japanese monks and local religious groups to hold a friendly relationship and cooperation ceremony during the stay. It was very interesting to walk from the hotel. The restaurant waiter also asked us about Chinese tastes and Chinese cuisine. Although the English communication between the two sides could not convey the essence of Chinese food, they communicated clearly with the help of the body language and imagination. The breakfast was really good. A cultural exchange platform, the restaurant waiter is also very friendly. In general, although it is not the best hotel in Italy, it is also a great place to experience.

Our family of five traveled to Bologna and stayed at the PHI Hotel. We had adjoining apartments which were beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect and easily accessible to restaurants and sites. The service was impeccable from the front desk to the woman who cleaned our apartments immaculately. The front desk was incredibly responsive to any questions that we had. At one point we had tripped a breaker, and someone was sent immediately to take care of it. We had a wonderful experience and will stay at the PHI when we visit Bologna again. Grazie mille!

The view of the Altana room is just unique the very comfortable litter. But for the rest the services are not at the height. Nausea smell in the bathroom. Defected shower powder. No kleenex no cotton. No tooth glass. No rooms are available for a 24-hour stay. Breakfast in a cafeteria in front. No overrun is allowed to take a increase to € 2 no more. € 850 3 nights I expected a more careful service.

Visited during Labour Day celebrations and, despite the hotel's proximity to the central square, noise was minimal. The art/artifacts on display are everywhere and tastefully done - there is so much to see! The breakfast room was spotless and abundant, and my morning cappuccino was a special treat. The reception staff couldn't have been more professional: Cinzia, in particular, was a true godsend. When my husband lost his phone in the cab to the train station, she was instrumental in tracking down the cab company and couriering it to us at our new hotel in Milan. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

ocation and the bed was comfy enough Disliked · After booking and paying on line we were told that arrival after 7.30pm would cost us extra money! For the whole of our stay the reception area and our bedroom smelled very heavily of cigarette smoke. Very noisy room with early morning deliveries to the supermarket below, which woke us up around 6am every day. The bathroom was tiny .The shower was weak and the shower head holder was broken which meant it was too low and the water spray faced the wall. The room was very dark and we couldn’t open the curtain because we would be seen by everyone who overlooked us in the interior courtyard. The breakfast is not what we want to eat especially in Bologna - tiny unappetising looking shop bought croissants that the receptionist was baking in the oven. The place was surrounded by shops selling delicious home made fresh bread and pastries The coffee was ok but it was long life milk- I couldn’t see any fresh. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room so you need to dress before you get a coffee.

We thought we were going to an hotel and you're actually in front of the huge door of an old building and names at the interphone that don't match. You will then take off your reservation and you will realize that there is no phone number, except yours. Therefore, you press all the interphone buttons, but as in a nightmare, no one responds to you. The door opens and is a little laid resident neighbor because the scene often must repeat itself and that can't do anything for you. We were saved by two other tourists crossed in the corridor, who lived in one of the three rooms and had the number of the owner who doesn't live on the ground. It was in December; outside it was night and cold and the owner told us to wait for it 3/4 hours. The impression of shiting it. Good to come anyway. Inside: two defects in my opinion: no breakfast offered, but it would be easy to make at least one boiler available. Second defect in the shower: nothing to put the shower freeze: so we need to continuously fall: it is not a big investment to facilitate the lives of the guests of the walking distance

We had a one, and final, night stay in Bologna after a 3 week vacation in Italy. The location was superb. Lots of dining, shopping and sites minutes from the front door. Our family of 4 stayed in the annex apartment, which is actually connected to the hotel, you just enter through a side entrance. There is no elevator, but we only had one flight of stairs. The unit was a great size for 4 of us. 2 kids got their own beds, and mom and dad got a comfy large queen size bed, with a separating wall for a little privacy. There was a large dining table, and a closet/wall kitchen where you could actually cook and they had waters and cokes and coffee/tea amenities for you to use. The bathroom was large, with a great hairdryer. The receptionists, both when we checked in and out were wonderful. So helpful in getting us a very early taxi for departure, and recommending restaurants for the bride time we were there. Bologna is a larger city, and we were very impressed during our short stay. I would spend more time there in a future trip!
