Maypole Inn

Nice village pub / old coaching inn with rooms. Very comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Nice evening  food and excellent breakfast. Decent range of beers on tap.

We ate here on a few occasions whilst staying in the area. There was a great choice on the menu, a specials board and a good selection of beers and wine. We were warmly welcomed by the Owners and Locals alike and always served with a smile. We would highly recommend a visit to the Maypole Inn whether you are local or a visitor. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Stayed for a wedding at Falcon Manor. Booked a Quad Room and a Double with Breakfast. It’s an old pud so the floor is slanted as are the bedrooms but this all adds to its character 😊 The hospitality was great and the breakfast was good. The rooms are well equipped with Yorkshire Tea which was perfect 👌 😂 Very clean and the beds were really comfy and cosy. Bathrooms were modern and clean and the windows were well done to ensure no road noise. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Only negative was the shower pressure was poor and more of a trickle than a shower 😂

We had a lovely 1 night stay. Our room was at the back overlooking the car park. Our room had everything we needed. Breakfast the following morning was great too. We found the pub very homely and clean. We had a walk around the village too, and found a beautiful church.

Quirky and friendly Great location for our base for the places we wanted to visit, easy access, fabulous staff, fabulous food, staff couldn’t do enough to help you. Building is a beautiful quirky place, and bedrooms a great size. A bit limited for places to eat outside of the Maypole, but their food was excellent.

Upgrade WiFi The service was great, food wholesome and sensibly priced and the room/bathroom was excellent. However, poor or non-existent WiFi really let down what was an otherwise excellent offering.
