I didn't expect to be something like that, very old and the staff weren't friendly.
You weren't even allowed to eat at the reception as a resident of the hotel where there are loads of empty tables and chairs.
Thankfully, the room was very clean.

The hotel room is clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. In terms of location, it’s few minutes walk from the bus and tram station, as well as next to a supermarket.
The down side is although there is lift, you have to walk half floor of stairs to reach the reception or the room which is a bit weird and inconvenient with luggage.

Good room and bed i not that comfortable... we got additional duvet to top up. The £1 taken to guarantee card has not yet been returned .

If you can get over the odd lay out and outside aesthetic, the OX Manchester is great. The staff are nice and approachable, the room is nice and the bathrooms are clean and new.
Breakfast is great and the dining area is set up well.
OX Manchester is also close to Metro link which makes it ideal if you don’t want to drive further into the city.

The hotel's hot water is unreliable, and the accommodation environment feels very uncomfortable. The only advantage is that it's cheap.

It was passable, free parking and nice room, although the AC didn’t seem to work so at night I was freezing.
