Our hosts were most welcoming, with dining and attraction suggestions (my cousin does that show!) and a willingness to accommodate our every need. We stashed some of our luncheon snacks in the community fridge, but left them there while we enjoyed delicious home-made breakfasts of egg flans and casseroles ("anybody can make bacon and eggs") and home made scones and muffins, which Jean makes tiny so you don't feel guilty having two! On entry there was an odd odor, probably something to do with being so close to the sea. We soon adjusted, and spent most of our time on our private deck when we weren't sleeping. Other guests were companionable and seemed as at ease as we did. In the sleepy little town of Norris Point, which doesn't offer much in the way of nightlife, but has a nice harbour with a local pub (that closes early) and a picturesque hiking trail.
