We have just returned from a night's stay to celebrate a Special Birthday staying in Sir Robert Armstrong -Jones Room.Waw...from arriving to leaving our whole experience was Absolutely Amazing. We had a lovely welcome and was shown to our beautiful room wich was of highest standard. The little extras in the room were a treat and the toiletries were the best quality ever. The dining ecperience was an absolute delight( My partner an ex-executive chef and myself in hospitality). We were blown away with the high standard of Service from All Staff( Some names known but not all sorry...) Dylan..Liam..Aaron.All were very Professional..Smart with full knowledge of what they were serving.A real credit to you. The Pre-Dinner Drinks and Canopes were a real treat before being ushered through to a very cosy part of the restaurant.Compliments to The Head Chef Daniel ap Geraint and his team for the most Amazing Dining experience ever...All the dishes were presented to the highest standards with tastes and flavours never known before.Breakfast today was again excellent quality and was freshly cooked ...plenty of choice and served with a smile. The grounds are beautiful and we took advantage of the gorgeous weather to take a stroll and relax on one of many benches dotted around. Truly an Amazing Stay. Thank you Annie & Daniel for creating such a Beautiful Place for that Special Ocassion. Diolch yn Fawr Pawb. Thank you Everyone.

Booked for the festive afternoon tea and we weren’t disappointed! Sandwiches were delectable, especially the ham with pear chutney. The cakes were equally tasty, and so many we couldn’t finish it all. The festive mulled wine was a lovely touch, and not too overpowering of clove either. We’d definitely go back

We only stayed one night and had absolutely flawless service. Everyone we met was slightly eccentric, full of character and shared brilliant local information. Daniel, the owner sorted out a very small problem very quickly and we enjoyed an incredible peaceful night in the lovely cottage rooms. After climbing the Snowdon in the day, - we were supper hungry and the dinner that night really was wonderful. Presented beautifully and utterly delicious. Would highly recommend.

The gardens were glorious today, there was an intimate wedding in the lounge, can imagine that their photos will be fantastic. Really enjoyed the afternoon tea- brought the scones home as we were too full. The staff were professional, friendly and polite. A visit is a real treat. Thank you yet again

The experience starts as you meander up the drive and get your first glimpse of the grounds and the house: quite lovely. We arrived after a long day of touring and driving, and after a fast check in, were ushered into the main lounge for a pot of tea. People were there for afternoon tea which we didn’t have, but it looked delicious and it meant the lounge had a nice chatty vibe to it. We did a quick tour of the grounds and loved the blue bells and wild garlic behind the house. We stayed in the Major and the room is very well appointed - we would recommend reading the information on the size of beds as 4’ 6” was tight and that’s on me. It is quiet and you are guaranteed a quiet night. Dinner is excellent and we opted for the 7.30 drink/canape/8pm start instead of 5.30/6, which meant that as we sat in the lounge, some of the earlier diners were retiring to the lounge which again meant it was full, which gave it a nice vibe. The Gunroom is small and intimate and quite lovely. All of the 8 courses were beautifully cooked and none of the portions were too large, meaning you didn’t fear being able to eat and enjoy it all. The wine list is excellent in breadth, quality and price - we had two halve bottles. Retired to the lounge for coffee which we had to ourselves. You could happily sit in the sofas and read a book or just relax. Breakfast was delicious - do fill in the form the night before to save time - and the choice is good and the quality excellent. A mention to the team who look after you: helpful, attentive but not bothering you, and have got the service level spot on. Different teams naturally from afternoon/evening service to morning, but the same high standard. In summary, we really enjoyed our visit and highly highly recommend here. We would go back just to experience a different seasonal menu, and just to chill out. But will choose a room with a slightly bigger bed 😃

We booked a night here as we were due to have a helicopter flight from Caernarfon Airport. Plas Dinas is a charming 17th Century house with an enormous amount of history, including Royals! On our arrival we were met by Rupert(?) who made us feel relaxed and welcome. Our room (Peregrine) was comfortable, well supplied with the usual goodies including sherry! We had a stroll around the grounds, beautiful. Obviously laid out for weddings etc. but done so tactfully. The bed was comfortable. We booked in for dinner, 9 courses, with paired wines. An absolute treat. Delicious food, well presented and served by polite, helpful staff. I didn't sleep too well because I was excited about the forthcoming helicopter flight. Breakfast was very good, just what was needed. All in all a great experience. Thank you to all of you for a most enjoyable stay.

A wonderful building with lovely grounds and interesting history with Royal connections. The views of Anglesey across the Menai and view of the Snowden range (sorry: yr Wyddfa). We had a very nice supper served by the wonderful Chloe - she was very attentive and careful about looking after us well. Well done. The food was super. Diolch.
