It was my first time in Boracay, and I wasn’t sure whether to stay in a quieter or more lively area. In the end, I chose Crimson and it exceeded all my expectations! I came as a solo traveler but was treated like a best friend from the very beginning. Special thanks to the beach club team - BeeRay, Bobo, and Daryll - for their excellent, fast and super friendly service ❤️ The room was fantastic: spacious, clean, with new amenities and a spectacular view. I also loved the airport transfer - Crimson has its own pier and a beautiful lounge, which makes the whole journey feel very special. I’ve stayed in many 5* hotels around the world, but Crimson truly stole my heart. I would love to come back.

The curtains in the room didn't block out any light at all, and I was woken up by the bright sun before 5:00 AM. Almost every room had large geckos, which really scared both me and my child.

When I first arrived, I found the hotel wasn't as stunning as I'd imagined, mainly because the architecture felt too modern and not like a resort. However, the hotel's excellent service soon became apparent. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made the vacation feel more like a true getaway. Breakfast was simply amazing. The pool connects directly to the beach and the ocean, and the hotel even has its own private bay. There are three restaurants at the hotel, and the food was outstanding and reasonably priced. The rooms were also quite good. The hotel offers airport transfers, but they're a bit expensive. The location is somewhat remote; while the hotel does provide shuttle service to D'Mall, the frequency is limited.

The hotel sheets had what looked like bloodstains, but the hotel claimed it was from a red dessert. The red was incredibly vivid. When I asked, I found out the hotel didn't change the sheets when cleaning... In the end, it wasn't clear who did it, but it really looked like blood. Maybe boys have 'those days' too, haha. 😓 A bit speechless. Moving to Shangri-La.

We were a family of four traveling with kids. The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast especially deserves praise. Out of the three hotels we stayed at, this one had the widest variety of breakfast options. It has its own beach, but getting around to other places isn't very convenient, so if that's an issue, you might want to consider a different hotel.

The in-room amenities are pretty standard, similar to what you'd find in a 1000+ RMB per night hotel back home – nothing special, nothing bad, just average. The 2300 RMB per night price mainly covers the hotel's private beach, services (kids' club, with daily craft classes and occasional pool parties), and the public facilities (three pools, including a kids' pool). We stayed for 10 nights, and when we checked out, they provided complimentary transfer to the airport (car + speedboat + car). We only had to pay the government's environmental protection fee and island entry fee ourselves. This service was absolutely excellent! When you check out, you might want to ask if they can offer this service. If it's your first time staying and you want an airport pick-up, I recommend contacting the hotel directly, as the airport transfer fee through Ctrip for this hotel is very expensive. The hotel is next door to the Movenpick Resort, and then next to that is the Shangri-La Hotel. You might want to compare prices.

Interesting hotel, the best way to consider the hotel is rather like a 4 star Spanish or Turkish hotel. Interesting arrival via private boats, down a service alley after a welcome drum beach welcome. Friendly staff but they don't remember you, you'll eventually want to never have to say your villa or room number ever again and have the number forever ingrained in your mind. Service was a sensation of everything being disctintly OK, nothing at all poor or bad just nothing good or exceptional. The feel of a Wetherspoons crossed with a boom box discotheque. Both rooms and villas are very cozy, if you like space or a spacious feel this isn't for you, if you want affordability and beach vibes you've found your home. Details lacking such as stained sofas and receiving another guests laundry in our laundry service. Overall it's a good hotel, but not what you consider a true 5 star and will leave you feeling underwhelmed.

We stayed at Crimson Resort in Boracay for 3 nights and had a mostly wonderful experience. We were in a room with a private plunge pool, which turned out to be a lifesaver. The afternoons in Boracay were extremely hot and sunny, and being able to cool off in our own plunge pool was fantastic and made the stay much more comfortable. The resort itself is lovely, with a relaxed yet upscale island vibe. The staff were consistently polite, professional, and attentive. The breakfast spread was impressive — wide variety of dishes from different cuisines, always fresh and well-prepared. We also really enjoyed the overall atmosphere around the beach and swimming pool area during the day. It had the perfect sunny, peaceful Boracay feel. Unfortunately, the evenings were disrupted on two out of our three nights due to wedding events on the beach. One of the weddings took up almost half the beach with decorations and ran until late at night. The extremely loud music combined with constant anchoring announcements made it very difficult to relax. It was quite a nuisance and significantly affected our evening experience. Because of this, we deducted one star from what would have been a higher rating. Would we return? Yes, we would consider coming back — especially for the beautiful resort, excellent staff, great food, and the lovely plunge pool room — but we’d prefer to avoid peak wedding season or ask the resort in advance about any scheduled events. Overall, Crimson Resort is a solid, beautiful choice in Boracay, just be mindful of potential beach events if you’re looking for quiet evenings.
