Blue Marina Boracay

This hotel, despite its flaws, is made exceptional by its staff! They are the best, probably even the best staff on the entire island! From the very first minute, you feel their kindness and care. They always have a smile on their face, and it never feels like it's just for tips; they genuinely welcome you like a long-awaited and valued guest. Their attention to detail and lovely little touches are truly delightful, such as: a personal transfer from the airport to the hotel, a robe offered to you when you get out of the water, free ice cream available after lunch, towels brought to you by the pool without asking, and a glass of cold water with ice on a hot day. There are so many of these little things, but collectively, they make you want to rate the hotel no less than a 10. In addition, guests at the Blue Marine hotel can also use the facilities of the main Coast hotel, which is a big bonus!

This is a hidden gem hotel, located between St. 2 and St. 3, just a 1-minute walk from the beach. The room rate includes airport transfer, so you don't have to worry about getting around after landing. They have a private car and boat, and the service is excellent. They give the kids cookies every night, and sand digging tools are available for loan. The rooms are a bit small but quiet and clean. The only downside is the slightly weak water pressure in the shower. Breakfast is à la carte and delivered directly to the room—it's so lavish, one meal is like two!

We had originally booked a larger Paradise Garden Hotel next door, even opting for a more expensive room, but it was unbearable – dark, dirty, and incredibly old. As soon as we checked in, we started looking for a new hotel. Our goal was simple: we were diving in Calypso, so we wanted a clean and bright place nearby. Luckily, we found the last room here at the last minute and checked in immediately. The hotel included round-trip airport transfers and daily breakfast, so we didn't have to pay extra. It was clean and bright, not luxurious or modern, but very comfortable, with excellent service. There was even a small courtyard with taps for rinsing the sand. Although it was in a small alley, the alley wasn't scary at all, and it was very close to the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. At the alley entrance was Subo, a Filipino restaurant we'd eaten at three times and loved – the ambiance and food were top-notch. This restaurant is a sub-brand of the nearby Coast Hotel, so many things and services were shared. Although the hotel was small, the service and cleanliness were consistently excellent. Highly recommended! We would definitely consider staying here again next time we're diving.

The hotel is very old, BUT the stay was extremely pleasant! The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The hotel picks you up right at the airport for free (taxi-boat-taxi). We were comfortably taken everywhere, our luggage was carried, and it was beautiful. There's a complimentary cake and fresh fruit in the room. There's a water cooler, and the breakfast is huge and delicious. Every evening, they offer a choice of 8 options, and they prepare it for you at a convenient time. The location is convenient; the beach isn't as crowded as at Station 2. There's a 7/11 nearby, along with cafes and restaurants. It's also a short walk to the center. The only thing is that the entrance is through a rather ugly alleyway, which the balconies face, so relaxing on the balcony in the evening isn't an option; I think it could be used as a smoking area. You can use the pool and grounds of the Coast Hotel, which is also a nice bonus. I'm sure you won't find a better option at this price. Thank you for your hospitality 🩵

A wonderful, small, and fairly quiet hotel, yet located in the heart of Station 2. The hotel itself is a bit tired, but this is completely overshadowed by the incredibly responsive, friendly, and smiling staff! Our booking included airport transfers, and they were excellent! The hotel has its own speedboat and minibuses. Upon check-in, we essentially had a private transfer! The hotel is a sister hotel to the larger Coast Hotel, where you can use sun loungers on the beach, swim in the pool, and enjoy ice cream (from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM). White Beach and supermarkets are within walking distance. Breakfasts are not very varied, but delicious.

The service was excellent, as expected of a COAST hotel. Every staff member was smiling and ready to assist every guest. They were responsive to requests and remembered guests' names, making guests feel respected. The room had everything they needed, but the facilities were quite old, the soundproofing was poor, and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. I strongly suggest the hotel renovate it. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach.
