Hotels in Balinghai Beach, Boracay Island

The hotel is rated as 5stars. It is far away from that if you expect a real 5 star hotel you will be disappointed. I would rate it like a 3,5 star hotel. The only category where the hotel reaches a 5 star level is at the prices for food and beverages as well any outside activity. The most worse was the transfer from Hotel to the airport. We get ask to pay 6000 Peso. My deeper question after that answer was what the costing will be if just get to the harbour the answer was - it is the same. the real costs for 5 person is around 2000 peso in total up to the airport departure terminal (the 6000 peso is a discounted price the price list of the hotel say 9600 peso). For a phone call as a customer service a fee of 4000 / 7600 peso for the hotel reminds me at business which brings you in jail. The same is for the drinks and food average double of the prices compare all restaurants we had visited and I do not talk about cheap restaurants. Furthermore, it takes typical 20 minutes for a coffee and one hour for a pizza in a non-busy time. The hotel itself have a nice beach location the pool is good and cosy the rooms are clean. I join a lot of 5 star hotel in Asia and middle east and I believe I can make a proper judgment about the hotel capability and costing ratio. The hotel is good just complete overpriced for what they are able to deliver. The guest is not seen as a guest you get easy the feeling the milk cow arrived let take all his milk. For me a one time experience never again.

I don't really write reviews because I'm not good at writing reviews but oh well. I must say this place is surprisingly good and the price is affordable. Breakfast ? I woke up pretty late but still made it for breakfast and it was delicious. They said they don't serve pork which is more than good for me since I'm a Muslim. It's a little bit far from the white sand beach tho. If you're planning on going out at night. You need to be very lucky enough to find an e-trike willing to send you back to the hotel

Crimson is exeptional! Our 5 day stay has been wonderful. Staff are very professional, accoodating and very polite. They made us feel truly at home. Our room has the spectacukar view of the garden and sea. Jhonry at Saffron Cafe is phenomenal. We were taken care of every time we come for breakfast and lunch. He's very polite and professional as well. The only concern that was nited was the flies around the restaurant but it was addressed right away. We will definitely coming back on our next Boracay trip. We can't imagibe being somewhere else but here. Highly recommended.

A wonderful villa, excellent view of Boracay south sea.. woke up daily to see the sunrise 🌅 with wonderful view of the islands across the sea… the service was excellent, especially Ms Arlene who was assigned to our Villa.. she made our stay a more than just pleasant one 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 The location may not be very accessible.. please book a Trike to bring both yourself + luggages to their main gate.. else you may need to carry them across many high and lows slopes.. my luggage broke 2 wheels due to this lack of knowledge 👌🏼.. but don’t let this affect the wonderful experience in store at One Hagden Villa 👍🏼👍🏼

There are two types of hotels in the world: those with management and those without. Paradise Garden falls in the latter, I'm sorry to say. For example, it took the friendly front office staff over an hour to check me in and the breakfast buffet is so overcrowded that there were no seats once you get your plate. Also, the wifi extended to the door of my room only so that I had to move the dest to the door to use wifi. Inside the room there is no wifi at all. This 1970's looking bare bones hotel is in a good location at Boat Station 3, just a little too far south of the action, and has huge grounds with several swimming pools. But the entire place has an unkempt appearance and needs a management team to remodel it entirely. I was there for a week in February and the weather was perfect.In all I ended up using over US $ 100 of T-Mobile international roaming data charges because the room had no wifi.

We went to Boracay in July 2022 for 22 days and we spent our last 6 days in Golden Phoenix Hotel Boracay which was the best decision as we wanted to stay at Station 3 during our remaining days. This beachfront hotel is accessible through an access road from the main road which makes it easier to jump into an e-tricycle to go around the island and the White Beach Path for beach access. The staff were all nice especially the food and beverage team who were always there to assist us during our breakfast meals on the restaurant. Our room was located on the first level which was great because we were near the front desk, restaurant, beach and the pool. The hotel was built in 2009 so the amenities may not be updated such as there's no bidet in the toilet and I also wish that they have a retractable clothesline in the shower to hang our wet clothes on. But the classic wood furniture and beautiful lamps in the room really never gets old. We only went around Station 3 in those 6 days and I would say that it's one of my favorites areas in Boracay as it's a perfect fusion of the old and the new, as well as the perfect mix of locals and tourists. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at Golden Phoenix Hotel Boracay.

I like to commend robert and alfred from breakfast dinning area they are proactive in helping customers. For improvement, I would like to call the attention of Ms Joan in dining area. The approach she had for me is very uncomfortable and intimidating, same with the night guard , but the rest of the stay was amazing!

Very nice hotel. Convenient and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great house keeping. The hotel offers huge amounts of swimming and its bar in the middle of the pool. It will have good opportunities to have a variety of drinks while swimming. However, I found some lack of providing amenities. I have booked a room for 3 people but there were not enough amenities. I have to ask every time to provide them. Found some ants in the bathroom. There is too much of a crowd while having breakfast. Not enough space for movement. In some cases, there is no hot water while getting in the shower. It's been fixed later. I found the iron board was not in workable condition and it was very hard to use it.

My third time going to Boracay, my first time was in Fairways & Bluewater Resorts, however it was too far, 2nd time we stayed in Villa De Oro, and for my third time, we stayed here at La Carmela. Our stay here at La Carmela was a clutch decision but a truly memorable one. We celebrated New Year's Eve 2022 at La Carmela. We stayed there for 9 nights. But I must say, some employees are not that dedicated and passionate with what they do, except for the security personnel who were all very accommodating. I myself, I am a front office agent, I can't even feel the sincerity with the service they provide. I was actually expecting a lot from La Carmela since Mr. Boy Abunda has always been promoting this resort during all his shows, in addition to that, so many celebrities and even influencers have stayed in La Carmela and seemed to like their services. But, to my dismay, all my expectation weren't met, unfortunately. Food is average, our daily breakfast was always served ice cold, pool is massive and beautiful, location is priceless since it's near the beach and just near to everything else where. I just wished they can step up their services including personal services to their guests, most especially that there are already a lot of hotels booming as their competitors. I know La Carmela has been there for countless years already, so why not make their legacy a good one. Overall, our room was okay, we waited for so long for our MUR, plus the ac in my mother's room is not functioning well. Would love to consider this hotel once more as it is perfect for budget travelers like me. stayed for 9 nights with my partner, mother, and my sister, and we only paid PHP 25k for everything including their plated breakfast. I love how the location is strategically located in the heart of Boracay. The hotel is just a few meters away from pharmacies, restaurants, bars, and groceries. The front desk was also helpful and gave excellent recommendations and where to go while in Boracay. They also have a transportation partner where you can book pick-up and drop-off arrangements from and to the airport. Special thanks to Amina and the rest of the front office team for my mom's birthday set-up!
