Iberostar Waves Bellevue
"This was our first all inclusive holiday as a family of 4 with a 5 and 8 year old. We all loved it. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pools are gorgeous and clean (fresh when you first get in!) lovely beach to visit. The staff were all very friendly and were so kind to us and the kids. They loved kids club and wanted to go every day! Bonus! I have an intolerance to dairy, gluten and soy and most of the food was well labelled and there was plenty of choice for me. The food was amazing, so fresh and varied. Anyone who is not impressed with the food must be extremely fussy. There is everything you could want and lots freshly cooked as well. The house wine and beer, all on tap was good and the cocktails were generously poured! There was always access to snacks and soft drinks. We asked for a sea view room in block 1 and it had garden access which was very convenient with the kids being in and out of your pool. Every night there was entertainment, however this could be really loud. I cannot imagine how loud it was in the pink original block that overlooked the stage. Which leads me onto the not so positive, lots of people smoke (not the hotels fault but not nice with kids) the beach did not have sun beds which was disappointing in April in lovely weather, the entertainment was loud and went on late, not ideal for kids bedtimes, one of our pool towels went missing, I’m sure we left it in the bathroom or it blew away but we got charged €20 for it. Our room was large and great however the kids both had sofa beds and there was a lot of dust underneath which wasn’t pleasant. The bathroom fan didn’t work despite it being reported. But these are all minor tips for improvement. I can imagine in August it gets really busy but April was fab. They also made me a special allergy free birthday cake which was soo kind! Definitely worth visiting!"
Sea Star Budva
"Our view this is 4.5 star hotel recently opened and just needs to tweak things to make it a 5 star hotel. The hotel is in an excellent beachfront location in Becici which is a lovely resort. The staff are friendly and very helpful particularly the reception staff who arranged us taxis and a transfer to Tivat through Elite Transfers and the driver Savo was brilliant, he spoke excellent English and was very informative and his car was immaculate and the price very reasonable. We were given a free upgrade to a delux apartment on the 8th floor with a fantastic sea view. This was a wonderful room and very much appreciated. The room had everything you could want and was very clean and it looked like we were the first to use it. Where we think the hotel needs to improve:- 1. The breakfast choice is very good but it could do with an egg station where fresh omelettes and poached eggs are made rather than have prepared omelettes in food warmers which didn’t really keep them warm and they looked unappealing. Most 5 star hotels have these or a menu offering them. 2. They need better coffee machines as all the coffees were far too sweet due to the milk the machine uses and you have to pay to get one made. 3. The pool is tiny and virtually nowhere to sit around it so the beach is used by everyone and sunbeds and towels are provided. The sunbed guys work hard and are very friendly. However, you have to walk across the road and across the sand which is hot and awkward to walk on so they need to put some wooden boards/walkways down to the sunbeds. The sunbeds could do with being better quality and have cushions on them. The hotel should also provide a drinks service to the beach again as most other hotels of this level (and lower) do. The beach guys move non residents on quickly which is good. 4. Housekeeping are keen and they even walked in to our room when we were in bed at 8:40am - they did ring the bell but the room shows that it is occupied from the outside. Towards the end of our stay 4 out of 5 of the soap and shampoo dispensers were empty and I had to seek out a member of their team to rectify it but they failed to do anything and 3 hours later I had to go to reception who resolved it very quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again but would want the above resolved before we did as there are several high quality hotels in the area and more being built as we speak."
Hotel Harmonia by Dukley
"Very good hotel"
Hotel Kalos
"The description does not match the reality. The airport pick up failed. Trip.com was also not responsive. I asked to change the room with a sea view- no support though the hotel was not crowded. Trip.com also did not support with cancellation though I shared my issue. The bar was closed at 7 pm probably because it was Sunday - I just wanted to have a drink as it was my birthday. There was no restaurant in the hotel only breakfast was served - waiters with dull faces. And definitely they do not care about their surroundings- you can see the view after you step out the hotel. The only good impression was from the receptionist- the young guy who tried to be helpful as much as possible. I will NOT recommend this place unless they improve their service and start caring about their visitors!"
Hotel Lusso Mare by Aycon
"Definitely not a 4-star hotel! Our experience was extremely poor for several reasons: * Room Issues: We booked for two people (friends), yet were given a room with only one double bed. The hotel refused to change our room, claiming they were full, despite appearing otherwise. One bed and one blanket. * Hygiene & Maintenance: The room was dusty upon arrival. The bathroom (faucets and mirrors) was never cleaned during our stay. Bed linens were only changed on the 5th day, and only after we complained. Toiletries were provided for only one person and were never restocked during the entire week. • Poor Quality: The towels and bedsheets provided were threadbare and full of holes. The TV remote was broken, and we had to go down to reception ourselves late at night just to get a second blanket (only to be given a thin sheet instead). * Service: The staff is largely incompetent and indifferent. Every issue was met with a simple "I'm sorry" without any actual resolution. Upon arrival, they even tried to charge us €15 for a dinner that was already included in our package. * Food: Breakfast and dinner were exactly the same every single day. Tables were left dirty and were not cleared before new guests sat down. Unacceptable Noise: On Sunday night, renovation work started inside the hotel after 22:00. The noise made it impossible to sleep. It turns out they were tiling the elevator floor overnight, so it was out of service this morning while the adhesive dried, we have to walk to 6th floor. It is outrageous for a 4-star establishment to conduct construction work late at night while guests are trying to rest. Safety Risk: The balcony railing in our room was loose and wobbling. This is a serious safety hazard, especially on higher floors, yet the hotel seemed completely unconcerned. The ONLY positive aspect of this hotel is the panoramic sea view from the restaurant, but that does not make up for the lack of basic cleanliness and professional service. We strongly recommend staying elsewhere if you value your comfort and money."
Hotel Bono
"Igor and his staff were excellent. I made my reservation late in the day when I got there that evening he graciously showed me my room to make sure i was happy with it before checking me in. The cleanliness we got here. OK in both the hotel and restaurant or exceptional and the breakfast is one of the best buffets I’ve had during my two week travel over here."
Hotel Montenegro
"Stayed here for a week, hotel is in a great location only a 25 min walk from Old town Budva if you take the tunnel route. It is in a nice quiet location. Nice size rooms and very clean. We went all inclusive and the selection of food is good although hubby disappointed there were no chips!! However the season doesn't really start till June 1st. Staff very nice and a special mention for Yusef Can he gave us lots of tips and some great advice he really made our stay feel special. It was our 1st time in Montenegro, it is a beautiful country and when we return I would stay here again. Big hugs to Garo the resident cat!!"
Hotel Premier
Hotel Tara Becici
"Just left hotel Tara which was through Titan holidays, first impression was not good, miserable staff, the plug sockets in room were hopeless, plug in the two prong socket and it gets in the way of the light switches, the plug in the bathroom does not stay down, the curtains are not wide enough to cover the windows, and what’s with the band round your wrist, that got rather annoying. Then there is the food , yuck is all I can say, was cold, and not nice at all, everyone pushing in, after the first couple of times, I stopped going to eat in the restaurant, some of the food looked liked it had been left out for more than one day, if you go then plan on eating out."
