Hotel Kalos
"Very good hotel. Excellent location. Very close to the beach. Reasonably close to the center (half an hour walk). Very nice staff. Very helpful, despite the language problem. At the reception you can get by with English, but communicating with the cleaners and other staff is difficult. Only downside was the lack of parking. There are very few parking spaces. This is always a problem in Monte*****. Wherever you go, the parking spaces are simply full."
Sea Star Budva
"The hotel is new, nice and at a good location. BUT the service are bad and not near a 5 star. The breakfast is a chaos. Few and bad vegetables. No smiles. No service. No happy faces. The coffee from the machines is a disaster. Bad cleaning and no antibac = winter vomiting bug. The rooms are nice. Every night there are live music from the nabo hotel garden. Extremely lound. Very smal pool area and the pool is maximum 50 m2. Only 10 sunbeds, and they are quickly reserved with towels etc. Use your money somewhere else!"
Hotel Premier
Hotel Lusso Mare by Aycon
"Definitely not a 4-star hotel! Our experience was extremely poor for several reasons: * Room Issues: We booked for two people (friends), yet were given a room with only one double bed. The hotel refused to change our room, claiming they were full, despite appearing otherwise. One bed and one blanket. * Hygiene & Maintenance: The room was dusty upon arrival. The bathroom (faucets and mirrors) was never cleaned during our stay. Bed linens were only changed on the 5th day, and only after we complained. Toiletries were provided for only one person and were never restocked during the entire week. • Poor Quality: The towels and bedsheets provided were threadbare and full of holes. The TV remote was broken, and we had to go down to reception ourselves late at night just to get a second blanket (only to be given a thin sheet instead). * Service: The staff is largely incompetent and indifferent. Every issue was met with a simple "I'm sorry" without any actual resolution. Upon arrival, they even tried to charge us €15 for a dinner that was already included in our package. * Food: Breakfast and dinner were exactly the same every single day. Tables were left dirty and were not cleared before new guests sat down. Unacceptable Noise: On Sunday night, renovation work started inside the hotel after 22:00. The noise made it impossible to sleep. It turns out they were tiling the elevator floor overnight, so it was out of service this morning while the adhesive dried, we have to walk to 6th floor. It is outrageous for a 4-star establishment to conduct construction work late at night while guests are trying to rest. Safety Risk: The balcony railing in our room was loose and wobbling. This is a serious safety hazard, especially on higher floors, yet the hotel seemed completely unconcerned. The ONLY positive aspect of this hotel is the panoramic sea view from the restaurant, but that does not make up for the lack of basic cleanliness and professional service. We strongly recommend staying elsewhere if you value your comfort and money."
Iberostar Waves Bellevue
"Overall it was a good stay. Things we enjoyed: Breakfast and lunch were good, loads of options. Hotel was clean and spacious! They had entertainment every night and activities throughout the day so that was good! Good location & right on the beach. You can walk (30min) or taxi into Budva which was 10€. The snack bar was also great. The ice tea! Things we didn’t enjoy: Some of the staff were quite unwelcoming. I would say dinner options were less great as most things were the same as lunch or just quite similar in general and repetitive. The cocktails were quite bad (apart from the mojito) also limited options. The soft drinks machine is all off brand and there was no lemonade. Notes: the AC was off in the hotel during this time of year but the staff provided us with a fan when asked. Overall it was good but I don’t think I’d return to the same hotel!"
Hotel Bono
"Igor and his staff were excellent. I made my reservation late in the day when I got there that evening he graciously showed me my room to make sure i was happy with it before checking me in. The cleanliness we got here. OK in both the hotel and restaurant or exceptional and the breakfast is one of the best buffets I’ve had during my two week travel over here."
Hotel Montenegro
"We stayed here late May 26... and just before we left we checked the recent reviews! And to be honest they worried us. Especially the comments around the smell of smoke & cleanliness. However on arrival our fears quickly disappeared. The reception area is large and spotlessly clean. The check in staff were friendly enough. I note that a lot of people comment on the lack of friendliness of staff. However this isn't what we found. They are professional and helpful. This isn't Spain or Greece so the culture is different. We were worried about the room smelling of smoke, however once in we had nothing to worry about. There must a slight musty smell at first... but my guess is this was due to the season only just starting. Doors open for a short while and this passed. The room was big enough for 2 and clean. The bathroom was clean and modern. A little small... but it was absolutely fine. The rooms were tidied every day with clean towels every day. And then cleaned properly twice in the 7 days. Fine as we're not messy and it stayed clean all week. A few minor things about the room... it is carpet so looks a little stained here and there, however it was clean. Also no kettle or hot drinks facilities. I took a travel kettle and asked for cups from the canteen which was fine. The fridge wasn't great, but kept things "cool" The pool area is big enough with plenty of sun loungers whilst we were there. Again clean and the pool looked clean, but was too cold for me to get in lol The music was a little repetitive... again I think this will change as the season gets going. The pool bar reasonable prices and plenty of choice of drinks. (Didn't eat so can't comment) The breakfast was fine. Lots of space and plenty of choice. Nice bread, eggs and fruit. Only used the bar once but it didn't really have a holiday feel. More like a professional hotel, which was fine by us. The hotel and surrounding area is having some work, and I think the main bar advertised (star bar) was closed. Also the beach bar / resturant is still beimg built. There was a little noise but nothing to bad. The resort of Becici is really nice, again a few places still closed and works in progress, however we found places to eat and drink every night. There is some construction going on so a few places being used as stosge (dumping ground) which hopefully the local officials get sorted before the main season. The views are stunning, it is so picturesque. The beach has plenty of space and sun loungers. The gym and spa was good. I'd have preferred it open a little earlier, however a nice run first worked fine for me. The hotel is a cross between a conference style and holiday hotel. And for those wanting a best friend from a bar man or waiter they probably won't grt it... however we're happynto be left alone lol over all we quite happy with it. And would definitely return."
Hotel Harmonia by Dukley
"Excelent quality for decent price"
Resort "Maslinjak"
"The residence is very small but charming. Surrounded by greenery, it has a swimming pool, bar, and restaurant. It's located away from the chaos of Budva, at the top of a long, steep road that's not particularly easy to navigate. Clean rooms, a minimally equipped kitchenette, and friendly staff."
