Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur

It was absolutely perfect! I stayed here for three days and didn't want to leave. The whole place was beautiful; I loved the owner's taste. The rooms were also very stylish, with lots of plants and decorations, making it feel like living in a garden. There were houses with views of the rice paddies and sunrise, and others overlooking the garden. I stayed in both. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious; I especially loved the egg noodles—I ate them four or five times! The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially the gentleman in his fifties, who was very considerate and attentive. The nights were very quiet, except for the praning that could be heard throughout the village at 4:30 am, which I actually quite enjoyed. The guesthouse offered free bicycles, so I rode around the village early in the morning and encountered many cats. I hope to come back again! The guesthouse also sold art; I bought four hand-painted teacup coasters. My favorite part was the central common area of ​​the guesthouse—it was so pleasant to work or chat there.

It was much better than expected! 😄 The staff were very welcoming, there were two kittens in the courtyard, the food was delicious, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete. You can see Borobudur directly from the lobby. The only downside is the location is a bit out of the way; it's a little eerie at night, haha.

The service was excellent. They even provided drinks upon check-in, and the staff spoke excellent English, making communication seamless. The location itself is quite remote and quiet, almost like living in a farmland at night. However, it's only a ten-minute walk to the main road, and close to Borobudur. The room was clean, but I noticed some issues with the cleanliness of the cups and cutlery during meals. The room itself was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the shower water was a bit inconsistent in temperature.

This is a very rare Non-View Hotel among hotels. It was a bungalow accommodation in the middle of a rice field. Since there are no restaurants around, you have to eat dinner at the hotel. The food was a bit pricey, but I liked it because it was prepared with fresh ingredients and served with sincerity. I was especially grateful that I could order beer even though it is an Islamic country. I also liked that they served unlimited coffee that was strong but not bitter. However, it is quite far because the entrance to Borobudur has changed. It is too far to walk. We called Grab and took a tuk-tuk to go there and back. The accommodation is quiet and secluded, so it is good for healing, but it is difficult to leave the accommodation once it gets dark.
