I had a nice stay at Moxy Boston. The hotel is modern and clean, and the location is very convenient for getting around the city. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick. The room was small but comfortable, good for a short stay.

Great location, with easy access to public transport or walking. The hotel is quite clean, but the room service quality may vary from day to day.
Nice rooftop bar with sunset vieiw.

1. The location is great, near Boston Public Garden, making it very convenient to get to downtown (DT).
2. The curly-haired young lady who checked me in at the front desk was very nice. Seeing that I had an elder with me, she helped us get into a clean room as early as possible.
3. The hotel provided two complimentary drink vouchers, which could be used for cocktails. There were also three $35 vouchers, which we could use just for breakfast.
The hotel is a bit small, which is probably the only drawback, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's absolutely fine!

Pros: Great location in downtown Boston, close to Chinatown, South Station, Boston Common, and subway lines (Green and Red), making it very convenient for getting around.
Cons: The room was small, and soundproofing was poor. It's next to the Tufts Medical building, so there were frequent ambulance, police car, and motorcycle noises downstairs, plus the noisy street commotion on weekends until past 1 AM, which really affected sleep. The price wasn't cheap, so the value for money wasn't great.

Very nice place with good food and drinks. The room I had was not set up to work in. Very little space and only a little folding table.

The hotel is located in the heart of Old Town Boston, right next to Boston Common, which is also the starting point of the Freedom Trail. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, with several subway lines nearby, and it's only about a 15-minute walk from Boston South Station.
The room itself was on the smaller side, but perfectly fine for opening up two 20-inch suitcases, and it was very clean. I paid for 3 nights' accommodation through Trip.com, and then an additional $122 for incidentals and taxes upon arrival at the hotel. The front desk gave me three $35 vouchers, which I used for breakfast (my room rate didn't include it). There were about seven or eight main dish options for breakfast. These vouchers could also be used for drinks, fruit, snacks, etc. There's no change given; if you go over $35, it's charged to your room and settled at check-out. I also received two drink vouchers.
The front desk is on the second floor, as is the breakfast area, which transforms into a bar in the evenings.
My room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy. The hotel is surrounded by Chinatown, offering many Chinese restaurants.

The breakfast was just okay, but the location is great. It's convenient for visiting attractions and is very close to Chinatown with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Amazing hotel downtown, offering cozy and comfortable rooms, a modern ambiance, and a cool bar to socialize. If you come by car, the best parking option is Tufts garage located just behind the hotel (daily parking rate was $45 as of 2025). The hotel is highly recommended.

On our trip to the US, my husband and I found this hotel in Boston to be in a fantastic location. It was within walking distance of the train station and right next to Chinatown, which made finding food incredibly convenient. I highly recommend the ginger and scallion lobster from Gaga Seafood – I ate it for three days straight, it was that delicious! Chinese food truly hits the spot. The hotel also gave us two meal vouchers and two drink vouchers, which was a great bonus.

This hotel is incredibly convenient for getting around, really close to Tatte, the theater district, and Chinatown. It's also near a main road, and I saw security guards by the garage, so it felt quite safe, with no suspicious characters around. They gave us a $35 dining voucher every day, and the breakfast looked like it was enough for two people. In the end, we didn't even use up the whole voucher and just used the rest to buy water, haha!

The room was nicely designed but unfortunately a bit small. The location was pretty loud at night even on the eighth floor especially at weekends. There is also a "destination charge" that they charge for no reason even if you don't use anything amenities wise.
