Holiday Inn Express Boston, an IHG Hotel

The hotel room is relatively spacious and tidy. There is a large supermarket nearby. The breakfast is good, because the western breakfast is relatively simple, and the parking lot is $20 per day. You can take the red line subway to Freedom Road, MIT and Harvard University in 7-8 minutes after crossing a bridge.

About a 30 minutes drive to downtown Boston with trafic. All the commodities at a fair distance. The hotel shows signs of getting old, but it’s overall really clean. Personnel was very kind. Breakfast is satisfactory. Beside the hotel is a bowling place with arcades.

Courtyard Boston-South Boston

As we checked into this hotel, the friendly staff person greeted us with a smile. When we asked where the subway station or ”T” was located, she pulled out three subway debit cards another guest had left with them when they were departing Boston. This struck us as more than kind, and the less than two block walk to the subway station was welcome after travelling all day to get there. Our room had two comfortable queen beds, plenty of ice cold a/c and a mini fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was serviceable, we assembled yogurt and fruit parfaits for ourselves and nice, strong, coffee. Within walking distance were a Target, Olive Garden, and Applebees. The area surrounding the hotel might be a bit dicey in late night, I wouldn't walk there or from the subway station without a large group of people. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and the staff was absolutely wonderful.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Boston South Bay

LOCATION: excellent location with easy access to all major areas in Boston. Merely 7-8 minutes walk to the Red Line Andrews station (only 2 and 3 stations away from South Station and Downtown Crossing respectively). ROOM: very spacious (which is very important and very rare among hotels in Boston) and clean with huge bed and comfy pillows. We had kitchenette and a fridge in our room which suits us perfectly. There is also laundry room and gym on ground floor. Both the environment and the room were very quiet and we never experienced any noise. BREAKFAST: while we noted some negative feedback about the breakfast in previous reviews, we, however, enjoyed the breakfast very much, with good selections for our needs. I especially enjoyed making the waffle every morning. STAFF: very helpful and friendly and responsive PRICE: excellent value for money and we will surely stay in this hotel again if we ever visit Boston again.
