Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Downtown/South End
4.4/5119 Reviews
My son and I stayed two nights for college visits in the Boston area. This Residence Inn is very new and was an excellent base for our exploration of Boston. All rooms are king bed and a quality sofa bed. Quiet room although some sirens at night being near Boston Hospital. Nice bathrooms with excellent water pressure. Standard Residence Inn kitchenette. Good complimentary breakfast in lobby. Parking was $40 but safe and secure. The location is not great for walking (although we did walk to Fenway Park in the early evening which took about 30 mins, and then took a cab back). What you sacrifice in location here is made up for by the hotel being new and having reasonable parking prices, etc. Would stay here again.
Oasis Guest House

I stayed at the Oasis Guest House for a couple of nights in early July. I had booked a 1 person shared bathroom room but was upgraded to an ensuite room. I loved staying at the Oasis Guest House. There's something very comforting about seeing the same faces at the front desk every day. Being able to have a friendly chat with them about the neighborhood as you come home or head out. Staying in a place that blends into the neighborhood rather than seeking to dominate it. Boston is a very walkable city with great public transportation options and the Oasis Guest House is well situated to let you head out and explore the city. The property is centrally air conditioned and kept at a comfortable temperature. There was also a small fan in the room which I didn't need but was nice to have on hand. There was also a spare blanket in the dresser which I didn't need but was nice to have on hand. The room was not large but was perfectly comfortable and a very relaxing place to return to after a day of walking around the city. The bathroom was very clean. The shower space was a bit tight but worked well. I will definitely be returning to the Oasis Guest House on my next trip to Boston.
Sheraton Boston Hotel

The room is large and well-equipped, but the wifi needs to be charged separately. The sanitation is very good, the bedding and the toilet are very clean. There are many restaurants and apple stores near the hotel.
The Colonnade Hotel

The second time, the hotel facilities are easy to use for the people. The excellent location is the commercial department store area, located in the central city. The surrounding subway and supermarket are within walking distance. The restaurant has a rich and convenient diet. The hotel offers warm service and a newly renovated lobby with free coffee breaks. Tickets for buses to outlets can be confirmed at the front desk and picked up at the hotel the next day. Very good trip.
Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston

Jacqui, Jaye and Deanna all helped me plan my proposal to my girlfriend, now fiancé! They were extremely helpful and had great recommendations. They even had a back up plan incase the weather was bad. Thank god we did have that plan because it ended up raining. We brought the proposal inside and they still made it beautiful. Leading up to the proposal I was emailing with them and they frequently followed up, asked questions and did everything they could to ensure that I was happy with what we were planning. Truly impeccable service. My fiancé and I were blown away, every interaction we had with the staff were kind and helpful. We will definitely be coming back.
Hilton Boston Back Bay

The location is convenient, within walking distance to shopping malls, churches, and museums. Hygienic and clean. Sound insulation is average. I booked a panoramic double room, the layout of the room is not good, the bedroom is small, it is inconvenient without a desk, and there are pillars blocking the view outside the window.
