Before booking this Hotel, go out shopping and buy Home Alone 2 on DVD. Go home and pop it in the DVD player. Fast forward to 1 hour, 29 minutes and 30 seconds and hit play for the most accurate review of the Croham.

Very disappointing. This hotel has the worst staff / customer service that I have come across in 15 years of traveling. I would advise anyone looking for a short stay to avoid and try one of the local competitors instead

Awful hotel, room dingy and small, man on reception very untidy. The shower was over the bath so when I asked for a rubber slip mat, I was told that because of health and safety they didn't have any!!! We had requested breakfast but was told that due to Covid no breakfasts were being served and there was no alternative and there was only two sachets of tea and coffee in the room. To say that we will not be staying there again is an understatement

A very poorly maintained hotel with old and broken furniture, stained curtains. No AC due to covid reasons , but the fans provided on request were really dusty and couldn't use them. Non functional table lamps. No breakfast served due to Covid reason, but still charging £500 for family of 3 for 3 nights. Hotel Patrons have to pay for parking £4.90 per day and getting parking is still a challenging job. Housekeeping is on request and the front desk team are least bothered. Totally non professional. I would say avoid this hotel if you going for leisure. Only positive thing is the location of the hotel which is very near to the beach and other restaurants. I will seriously request the authorities to review the rating provided to this hotel. I understand the impact of Covid on businesses but when you take £500 for 3 nights for one room you should provide atleast breakfast and good house keeping services. The name should changed to Croham Inn rather than a hotel. Needs a new management which really cares for patrons.

I was booked into this hotel from 15-19 July 2021. Upon booking in at reception one of the notices taped to the reception desk informed me that there were ongoing water pressure problems. When I asked what time breakfast was, I was informed that 'Oh, we don't do breakfast.' I was given the key and directions to my room, No 313. I was also told that the air conditioning did not work. Entering my room I was met with blast furnace levels of heat. Yes, the air conditioning really did not work. First things first, open the windows. Sitting on the bed I nearly fell off it as there was no stability, it moved from side to side. Looking around the room was not pleasant. Above me in the top left hand corner of the wall and ceiling junction was a stain that looked like it had come from a water leak. Who knows? On the wall just near the window was an incredibly bodged bit of work carried out by a very amateur plasterer. On a set of drawers the bottom set had no handles what so ever, and upon opening the drawers they did not look too hygienic. In the bathroom behind the toilet there was a wide ledge, and where it joined the window the jointing material was coming away. Wanting to wash my face in the sink, to help me cool down in this furnace of a room, I ran the water in to the sink and pressed the spring operated plug. It kept popping up, no matter how many times I pressed it!! Lying on the bed for a quick rest, every time I moved I kept smashing my head on the metal rungs that were meant to be the head board. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have slept in. I decided to check out the next and go home. Upon checking out I mentioned I was checking out early and the man on reception said 'Yeah, ok.' It was obviously no surprise to him when people checked out early. I am posting pictures of my room, but the thing is my pictures are exactly the same as those posted in 2019 by KatrinaC59

Horrendous. Awful room, tv doesn’t work. Bed is not comfortable. Car park £5 per day. What a joke paying for parking in the place you staying, rip of Britain. Dirty … AVOID if you can. The only thing positive is the location. But never staying here again.
