Let me elaborate on a few points.
Firstly, the staff provided warm and attentive service. The ladies at the front desk were all exceptional. From actively considering our group size and room allocation before check-in, to promptly responding to every single request during our stay, and even giving gifts to my child and me upon departure, everything contributed to a very pleasant experience. When we checked out, our shuttle couldn't pick us up for some reason. We thought, 'It's not far anyway, we can just walk to the lobby with our luggage.' But two minutes later, the front desk proactively arranged for staff to help with our luggage. Their initiative was impressive; they weren't just following orders but actively thinking about how to serve us.
Secondly, the room offered excellent privacy, and the facilities were convenient and well-equipped with everything we needed. A small detail that stood out was that the ashtray usually came with one box of matches. The cleaning staff must have noticed I smoked when they cleaned the room the next day because they left an extra box. It's these small details that truly reflect service quality and make a stay enjoyable.
Thirdly, the location is unbeatable. It's very close to the bustling downtown area, offering a blend of local life and convenience. Whether you want to enjoy a private beach or experience the vibrancy of Sanya, it's perfect. The beach offers stunning sunset views, and from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, complimentary drinks, alcoholic beverages, fruits, and snacks are provided by the beach, allowing for a relaxing enjoyment of the ocean sunset. Because it's close to the city, food delivery is very fast, and the hotel promptly helps deliver takeout to our room door, giving us more dining options and convenience. This aspect truly surpasses many other hotels.
The only minor drawback is that since the hotel was built some time ago, some of the fixed facilities are a bit older. For example, the toilet is quite basic, with manual flushing and no heated seat. For someone used to smart toilets, sitting on a cold seat was a bit of a jolt, hahaha. But overall, the minor flaws do not detract from the overall excellence.
When we checked out, the front desk lady asked my child if they'd like to come again. My child said yes! Indeed, if we come to Sanya again, we will still choose Banyan Tree.

Our butler, Fanny, contacted us proactively even before check-in to help plan our itinerary. Once we arrived, her service was incredibly meticulous. She arranged electric carts for our outings, ensured room amenities were replenished promptly, and even had our takeaways delivered right to our door. Any request was quickly addressed with just one message. We woke up every day to a greeting message from Fanny; her service truly warmed our hearts~
🥪 **Rich and Delicious Dining**
The breakfast hours were incredibly flexible, open until 12 PM, which was a godsend for us three sleepyheads. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, with both Chinese and Western options, catering to different tastes.

ZZhaocaiwenwenziFacilities: Not outstanding but OK, the floor and wallpaper are bulging and moldy. There is no way to deal with the location, and it is old. It needs to be renovated. The hot spring is good, but it is very hot and needs to be drained in advance~
Sanitation: Clean, the only thing is that there are many fallen leaves in the swimming pool, and the water is not circulating all the time. Someone comes to clean the swimming pool every morning, but there are still some fallen leaves.
Environment: It is on the mountain and very quiet. The sound of airplanes is a bit loud~ If you want to come here, remember to rent a trolley! Otherwise it is really inconvenient
Service: Butler Ma Jie provides very good service, he is a concierge, a front desk, and a waiter! He does all kinds of work. There are indeed not many waiters in their family, and they are short of staff during the Spring Festival.
The buffet is not delicious, ordering is OK, it is inconvenient to travel, there are no supermarkets and restaurants around, and shopping is a bit far~ Thank you for upgrading my room type~

MM19225****The service was excellent. When our car arrived, a staff member immediately helped with our luggage and warmly asked if we had a reservation. They were very attentive, always arranging transportation for us whenever we wanted to go to the beach or anywhere else, and providing information about hotel shuttle schedules and safety precautions. It was very thoughtful.
The lady at the front desk, Ms. Mo, saw we had a child and upgraded us to a family room, which the child absolutely loved and was very happy about. The family room had bunk beds, and the balcony overlooked the pool, perfectly satisfying our child's love for water play.
Additionally, we received a complimentary breakfast, an afternoon tea, and free drinks and snacks at the bar in the evening. It was incredible value for money, and the service was heartwarming. This hotel is definitely worth recommending.

MM42554****Having had wonderful experiences at St. Regis multiple times before, I decided against booking any other hotel this time and opted for an immersive 8-day stay solely at the St. Regis. And once again, it didn't disappoint, further elevating my affection for the brand. First off, the room size – for the same price point, St. Regis rooms are the largest, with standard rooms starting at 73 square meters and high ceilings, offering a very spacious and comfortable stay. This time, I stayed in a Grand Ocean View Suite. The front desk lady recommended a room in the West Wing, which had an unobstructed balcony. I could wake up and see the ocean right from my bed. The huge balcony connects the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, providing a panoramic ocean view. Every angle offers a different kind of beauty. What's more, it's not just a monotonous expanse of sea; there are also palm groves, lawns, and winding pathways as a backdrop, creating a beautiful blend of human touches and nature. My favorite part was the walk-in bathroom; even bathing felt like a ritual. From the window while soaking, I could see mountain and ocean views, with the pink mini-train occasionally passing by, which was incredibly romantic. I also want to give a special shout-out to our housekeeper, Yang Yuanyuan. Her friendly and perfectly-timed chats were much appreciated. After hearing us comment on how beautiful the flowers were and that we watered them daily, she realized we loved flowers. That afternoon, she surprised us with a lovely vase of flowers, in blue and white, perfectly complementing the ocean. This kind of unexpected service truly touched us. The St. Regis estate is beautiful at every turn; we spent these 8 days without visiting any attractions in Sanya, and it was a truly wonderful experience right here at the St. Regis. Looking forward to our next visit!

GGuest UserOur family of five, spanning three generations, stayed in two king-bedded rooms.
Let's start with the positives: The hotel's location on the island is fantastic, and the island environment itself is beautiful, especially during the quieter mornings and evenings when there are fewer crowds. The service within the scenic area also deserves a special mention. When one of our elderly family members injured their foot, a staff supervisor went out of their way to provide a wheelchair, which was incredibly considerate.
Now for the less impressive aspects: To avoid hassle, we opted for the hotel's buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The selection was quite limited. While the rice noodles and fried noodles were acceptable, the desserts and drinks were subpar and certainly not worth the price. However, since it was just a one-night stay, we managed to make do. Furthermore, the room amenities weren't brand new, but the room itself was a good size, offering decent value for money.
My main gripe, though, concerns the booking issue. We reserved two twin-bedded rooms late the night before our arrival on the island. However, on the day of check-in, Trip.com (Ctrip) called to inform us that twin rooms were unavailable, and only king rooms remained. They implied that the hotel *could* provide an extra bed, but we'd be charged an additional 500 or 600 RMB (I can't recall the exact figure) for it. We were also told we could cancel our booking if we wished. Essentially, twin beds were simply not an option.
The hotel itself never directly communicated with us during this process; all communication was handled by Trip.com. Eventually, after about 4-5 phone calls, Trip.com offered us approximately 300 RMB worth of their loyalty points as compensation. As we were traveling with a family and didn't want the hassle of last-minute itinerary changes, we decided to make do. To add insult to injury, after everything had supposedly been resolved, another Trip.com customer service agent called and started the entire conversation from scratch, completely unaware of the prior discussions.
In summary: I'd definitely return to Wuzhizhou Island, but I won't be staying at the Coral Hotel again.

GGuest UserIgnoring some of the negative reviews online, I decided to book a stay in the villa area to experience it myself. The 24-hour shuttle service was incredibly convenient and even fun, like a little roller coaster for kids! The setting is very natural, so there were quite a few bugs, but thankfully they didn't bite. For takeout orders, you had to pick them up outside the premises; it would be even better if they offered direct delivery to the villa. We experienced the pool on a rainy day, and it created such a wonderful ambiance! For just over 1000 [RMB], you really can't find a pool villa like this anywhere else. I'll definitely be returning!

Ordering takeout is also very convenient, as it's close to the Baihua commercial center. The staff are all very enthusiastic and polite. It's a shame there was a typhoon during the two days I stayed.

MMedxoxoThe hotel is in traditional style with a hint of modern, however it is a bit outdated and needs renovation, hence the affordable price. Rooms are spacious, clean, bed comfortable. We were in superior room on 2nd floor (description says no windows) however there are windows and balcony, but balcony is a loggia so you do not get enough light. The area by the pool is amazing, so calm and relaxing, you can really feel the zen (or we were just in a not busy season). The beach is ok, you have sunbeds, parasols and towels from the hotel. Breakfast was great, great selection even for a European travelers. Reception staff speaks english which is a great plus. Lovely Jason from reception was very kind to us and so helpful on our checkout day, it is worth mentioning. Recommending this hotel for a vacation.
