To sum it up, this was a nearly perfect vacation, and in my opinion, if you're looking for a quiet, tranquil, and comfortable resort experience, then Banyan Tree Sanya is the absolute best in Sanya! Beyond these advantages that surpass other hotels, Banyan Tree doesn't skimp on the expected perks of a luxury brand. First, the online claims of outdated facilities are unfounded; everything is in perfect working order. Second, regarding hygiene, even with a private pool villa nestled in the rainforest, I found the cleanliness to be absolutely up to standard! I was also quite satisfied with breakfast, especially the sour and spicy seafood noodles and the egg tarts – absolutely superb! And most importantly, the service. You can tell the front desk and concierge staff are genuinely dedicated; they are very patient and communicate and resolve issues promptly. Since it was our anniversary, they even upgraded our room when available, a big thank you to our butler, Youyou, for this wonderful hospitality! Overall, this trip far exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely satisfied!

This St. Regis experience was so much better than the Hilton! I was upgraded to a full sea-view room with an unbeatable view. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated, and the amenities provided were excellent. The common areas were also beautiful; it was so chill to just sit by the sea, feel the breeze, and listen to music. The hotel offered a variety of activities, and the snorkeling I participated in was a lot of fun! The travel photography session also turned out great, and I really appreciated that there was no hard selling during the photo selection process. I particularly want to praise the butler service; my assigned butler, Kimi, was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly responsive, proactively introduced and offered services, and quickly and actively resolved any issues I brought up. She also took the initiative to ask if I had any other needs and, ultimately, helped fulfill a small wish for my child who couldn't join me. I'm so grateful!

This was my first stay at the Yalong Bay Metropark Villa Resort. The day before my arrival, our butler, Xiao Zhao, proactively contacted me via WeChat to confirm my itinerary and inquire about any special requests. The hotel is located next to Yalong Bay Golf Course, boasting a beautiful environment with rivers winding through lush greenery. Our room had one bedroom, one living room, and one bathroom with a bathtub and kitchen. The courtyard also featured a small separate room with a sofa, air conditioning, and a double bed, comfortably accommodating two people, along with a small tea room. The private pool in the courtyard was a hit with both adults and children. The room attendant, Wang Xiaoyan, brought us water and fresh towels several times a day – excellent service! We dined at the hotel restaurant, enjoying a set meal of coconut chicken and the buffet. Restaurant manager Xu Xiaoling personally greeted us, showing genuine care and even giving a gift to our child – truly thoughtful. Breakfast was served until 11 AM and the food was quite good. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the main road, from where it's about a ten-minute walk to the Yalong Bay public beach. The beach is beautiful, but the jet ski vendors there were quite aggressive, often using megaphones to tell tourists to leave, claiming that area was exclusively for their business and telling people to go play elsewhere.

Environment: This is a villa area, and the accommodation environment is quite good. For dining, you need to contact the butler, who will arrange an electric cart to take you to the lobby. From there, you can take a taxi to nearby places like Joy City. The interior of the house is excellent. We stayed in a three-bedroom unit. The house features an internal elevator. The second floor has a dining room, a bedroom, a living room, a maid's room, and a bathroom. The first floor boasts a large master bedroom, a slightly smaller bedroom, and another living room. The first floor also has direct access to a swimming pool and hot spring. Overall, it's very suitable for a family vacation or a group of friends. The accommodation conditions are excellent.

You can book airport transfers and shuttle services to Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay hotels when staying here. There's a VIP channel to the island, so you can skip the queues. Fewer tourists in the mornings and evenings mean better opportunities for photos and enjoying your visit. We booked a bus to Yalong Bay, and Mr. Li Cai helped us with our luggage and provided service with a smile. I'll bring friends next time if I get the chance.

Our stay at Wanda Reign Sanya was excellent. The resort grounds are pleasant, and the public areas are grandly designed. Room facilities are well-maintained. It was quiet and relaxing, with attentive and prompt service, offering many helpful tips for activities. The resort is peaceful and private, creating a perfect vacation atmosphere. The electric buggies make getting around very convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and definitely worth choosing when visiting Haitang Bay.

Achieved 'private pool freedom' in Yalong Bay, and the Thai-style villa was absolutely stunning! Coming to Sanya, staying in a villa is a must! This time, I stayed in the Pullman's Thai-style Deluxe Pool Villa, and it completely exceeded my expectations! 🏡Ambiance: As soon as I entered the room, I was blown away by the massive private pool. It's a truly private, standalone space, surrounded by lush greenery, giving off a strong Southeast Asian resort vibe. It's fantastic for photos! Getting to the beach requires walking through the Marriott's side for a few hundred meters. The water in Yalong Bay is truly crystal clear. 🏊♂️Facilities: The villa space is very generous, and the wet/dry separation is excellent. The bathtub is right by the window, so you can enjoy the view while bathing. The private pool water was very clean, and it was incredibly comfortable to play in the water this season. I spent a whole day in the water and didn't want to get out. 🍽️Dining & Service: The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted good. The butler service was very thoughtful; any issues during my stay were responded to quickly, and they even helped arrange buggy transfers. 🌟Summary: Although I booked using a voucher, the service was absolutely not compromised. If you're looking for a quiet, private getaway where you can fully enjoy swimming, Pullman Yalong Bay is definitely the top choice. The experience was absolutely perfect!

Luhuitou Sanya Resort (in our experience) is a tranquil, quiet place (I believe this may be to do with it being slightly off-peak season). It has a beautiful pool, is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach (bring your water shoes, the entrance to the water is full of rocks/coral) and isn’t too far from town (8 minute Didi). The rooms are large & the couch is big enough for our toddler to nap on. We enjoyed the breakfast on offer (one of the better breakfasts we’ve had) and ate at the Thai restaurant once for dinner. For us, this hotel / resort has the perfect balance of rest, relaxation & amenities! From the fact the room came with international power adapters, a surprise cake for my husbands birthday (which was totally unexpected) and a room upgrade provided by Emmy on reception. It’s the small details the sometimes make the most impact & they don’t go unnoticed ♥️

It's really hard to find hotels in Sanya where you can cook, and after much deliberation, I ended up booking the Aegean Sea. Opened in 2008, I have to commend its forward-thinking concept; all the appliances back then were Siemens, and the dinnerware and glasses were all of very tasteful quality. This time I visited, the windows and doors had been renovated, the washing machine replaced with a new one, and the room door locks weren't loose anymore. You can stare at the sea from the balcony, and it's just a few steps downstairs to the beach. There were a lot of foreigners this time, but honestly, the service could definitely be improved. It felt like there wasn't much service; if it's a five-star hotel, then the service is indeed lacking. The breakfast quality could also be enhanced.
