The beds in the room are so comfy, tastefully decorated. The old store guest house is a gem of a find, the perfect location for many walks, there is an amazing pub opposite, that serves fantastic pub grub. Matt is such a chilled guy, thanks for a great full English breakfast Matt. We have already reserved dates for March 2026, can’t wait to see you again.

Fabulous place to stay, very clean comfortable and quiet Lovely hosts and a superb breakfast Plenty of on site parking and only a short trip into the city Anglesey Arms just over the road Do visit Boxgrove Priory just down the road opposite and Chichester Cathedral and surrounding grounds Thank you Jon and Rachel Cheshire

Everything about this stay was excellent. Spacious room, lovely decor, good bed and bedding, nice bathroom, hassle free check in with clear instructions, nice sitting room for guests, high grade cooked breakfast with great options and a friendly host. Faultless. We hope to return.

Recently stayed for one night. It was a lovely setting. Clear instructions on checking in, parking, local amenities. Room was clean nicely furnished. Breakfast was lovely. Really nice homely setting. Helpful information pack. Would recommend to anyone snd would happily stay again.

Excellent location and a nice clean room. Good facilities and a place to park your car! Lovely breakfast cooked by the very congenial host. On a quiet main road but not disturbed by traffic. Also in a bus route which can be very handy. Nice en-suite.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Store. The B and B is so well located for many local attractions and also a short drive to Chichester. Matt is a very knowledgeable host and can provide excellent recommendations of places to visit and dining in the area. He also has plenty of guidebooks and maps to borrow. The room was cosy and warm, and we especially enjoyed our home cooked breakfasts that set us up for a day of exploring in the Sussex countryside. Fortunately we didn't get to see a lot of Matt's recommendations so we have several good reasons to return in the future- Highly recommend.

Excellent, lovely B and B and will be returning again. The cooked breakfast was delicious and were made to feel very welcome by Matt. Thanks so much for your tip to walk along East beach and we popped into the lifeboat station for a free tour which was great.
