The beds in the room are so comfy, tastefully decorated. The old store guest house is a gem of a find, the perfect location for many walks, there is an amazing pub opposite, that serves fantastic pub grub. Matt is such a chilled guy, thanks for a great full English breakfast Matt. We have already reserved dates for March 2026, can’t wait to see you again.

A lovely roadside inn! Well maintained and cleanly decorated we stayed one night on a road trip across southern England. We had the king room on the third floor. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy, and the breakfast was good. The bed itself is probably a queen size and the room is at the top of the cottage so anyone over 6” beware of curling beams and a slanted ceiling…I am 6”1’ and had no real issues. We loved our stay!

Would highly recommend The Old Store Guest House. We have enjoyed a couple of breaks in this delightful part of West Sussex and will return. The owners do everything they can to make you welcome and everything was so easy right from the booking to confirmation of our of stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows and a delicious breakfast and lots of small details to make you feel at home.

Matt is a treasure who has a fabulous touch with your morning egg! Thanks for a wonderful stay, was such a small world to find another guest from Tauranga in house at the same time. The room was spacious & although I picked it for its proximity to the activities we had planned it stands on its own as worth a visit. Thank you very much for having us!

We stayed for one night as we were attending a funeral locally. The Old Store was perfect. Lovely rooms, good parking and a perfect breakfast. A comfy and welcoming lounge if you have time to while away. We would highly recommend the Old Store.

Had a lovely stay at the Old Store Guest house. We stayed in the family room which was perfect for what we needed and also accommodated out two children, 10 and 13 well. Accommodation was very clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order. A really lovely stay.
