"Super 8 was clean and comfortable but on entering the room it was set up to kill my girl. We came in late and there was no light available when turning on the door switch next to the door. My angel stepped into the room hands full and due to the lack of light immediately fell over a badly placed coffee table where she proceeded to fall with hands full over the table badly bruising her chin not once or twice but three times and was in extreme pain. Nice room but please consider the customers and their safety next time you place a coffee table inside a door and in the immediate walk way."

"Very cozy hotel! The Iped was lost in the parking lot and was picked up by the staff. Since it was set in Chinese, there was no way to contact me, so I charged it and waited for us to go back to find it. Very touched!"

The Seahorse Cottage is located on a large lot 2 blocks from downtown Bradenton, royal palm tree lined streets and front yard views of the Manatee River. Birds sing with calm coastal breezes. The Seahorse Cottage is for your exclusive enjoyment. Private entrance and space. The large backyard deck is a shared area with 2 other cottages on this large property. Laundry area is available for stays longer then 5 days upon request. You are responsible for your own laundry supplies.
We do not want to disturb you during your vacation, but if you need us, do not hesitate to reach out. Functional smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit in unit. Hospitals are minutes away if needed.

You will enjoy walking through Mineral Springs Park complete with a spring, boardwalk, fishing pier, big trees and observation tower. You can see manatees, dolphins, sting rays, sharks, pufferfish, crabs and much more! The fishing is awesome here and you have your own grill to bbq whatever you catch. If you'd rather dip your toes in the sand, head over to Anna Maria Islands beaches. It's a quick 15 minute drive from the villa. You will love the sugary sand, turquoise waters and breathtaking sunsets. Another option is to eat and shop on Bradenton's Main Street, right off the riverwalk. Or check out Bridge Street on Anna Maria Island which also has many shops and old Florida charm. Plus it's close to many attractions such as the Manatee Village Historical Park, Bishop Museum, Lecom Park, IMG Academy, Village of the Arts, Mote Aquarium, various nature preserves and the most beautiful beaches in the US. This beach getaway is centrally located downtown Bradenton, FL and Anna Maria Island.
There are a ton of great beaches, beach restaurants, waterfront spots, activities, beach bars and everything you guys will need close by. If you want to get out on the water head over and rent a kayak, paddle board, jet ski or boat.
Typically there is not much parking available during vacation stays, but not at our place; there are spaces for two cars, or a car and a boat or RV.
There is a Beach Trolly on Anna Maria Island that will take you to all the spots you will want to go during your stay.
Getting Around:
A car or hired transportation is suggested for getting from the airport to your getaway if you're flying.
Once you arrive, you can park the cars, in the ample parking spots on property, and Uber or Lyft to the short distance to Anna Maria Island, the Beach Trolly running up and down beaches, or to downtown Bradenton during your entire stay!About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Please respect our home as if it was your home. Beautifully renovated home. New laminate flooring, stainless appliances, wood cabinets, granite tops, LED lighting and so much more! This sits on an oversized corner lot. Come and enjoy all the conveniences of home. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in this fully furnished 2 BR with a pull-out sofa. The master suite has a spacious walk-in shower, king bed, new vanity and granite top, and a walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and a pull-out sofa in the living room.
You will be amazed at all the activities that are nearby. Sugar sandy beaches on Anna Maria Island, walking, biking, and kayaking through Robinson Preserve, Desoto National, Palma Sola Botanical Garden, Geraldson's Farm & all the amenities at GT Bray Park. Make sure you check-out Manatee County website for all the tennis/pickle ball courts, disc golf and local golf courses! Great fishing nearby along with water rental activities. Publix, a walk-in clinic, Post Office, several shops, and restaurants are just over one mile away. This quaint neighborhood is great for bike riding and walking. Pets are welcome with a pet deposit paid. Minutes to downtown Bradenton with numerous Restaurants on the riverfront. Explore RIVERWALK and the art community and museums while downtown. Visit the downtown Sarasota waterfront, approx 20 minutes away. St Petersburg is an approx half-hour, Tampa is an easy 1-hour drive, and 2 hours to Disney/Sea World, and Universal for a nice day trip
