Environment: Located in central England, a 20-minute drive from Darcy Estate, the breakfast provided was delicious! The best breakfast of the entire trip in England! This is a place I would choose to stay again. If I have the chance, I would love to stay for two nights. The essence of England is truly in the countryside."

"I often considered booking this hotel when coming home to visit but after these last 3 days I will definitely use it more, previously I had always booked premier inn hotel never again, this hotel has AC which during the last few days has been a godsend and the added bonus of a walk in shower that was actually quite powerful, compare that to the premier inn asking for £300 for 3 nights with no AC and a shower over a bath that is totally useless, this cost £179 for 3 nights absolute bargain."

"Standard Premier Inn Hotel....clean, comfortable, welcoming and friendly staff. The location is right in the centre of Chesterfield with cafes, restaurants, shops within a few minutes walk. The Saltergate car park is just three minutes walk, is very secure and has EV charging stations (only 7kwh but we left our car charging overnight). Why only three stars? Both the tap and the shower head in our bedroom were in serious need of descaling. On Saturday evening we arrived at the restaurant at 5:55pm as it opened at 6pm ( we needed to eat quickly as we had arrangements at 6:45pm). Two other couples had already been admitted. We were told it would be a 40-minute wait as they were so busy and only had one chef!!! Pathetic. Needless to say, we ate elsewhere! Such a shame that an otherwise good hotel with reception staff working so hard to make the stay enjoyable, should be let down by such poor restaurant management."
