However, their gym was small and only few equipment provided . Besides , it had very bad lighting. I arrived the gym at about 9:30pm, I had doubt and fear to enter the gym because the corridor was dark and the gym was located at the corner of the lift lobby."

"Overrated old style hotel, cheap & greedy management style. No coffee nor espresso machine in the room, spa access charged 32€ etc … Restaurant menu @ Michelin prices but no food appealing there. I left the table without ordering as it was so mediocre. Noisy housekeeping who came into my room at 7 AM, no excuse received though. It’s more of a 4 star hotel by international standards. I bet you can get better value for money with a Airbnb on the waterfront."

"MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOTEL Short and painful facts for future guests: Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Want to leave at 11:00 or later? They charge €10 per hour. It feels like a penalty, not hospitality. Breakfast costs €10 — don’t waste your money. It’s disgusting. Low quality, miserable selection, and unsafe hygiene. You’ll regret every bite. Want to use the facility (sauna, etc.)? €50–70. Nothing is included. Everything is a paid add-on trap. My stay at Hotel Modena was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. The breakfast was a complete scam. The food was vile, poorly prepared, tasteless, and served in questionable conditions. Hygiene was clearly ignored. The buffet looked depressing, but tasting it was a different level of pain. €10 for this? No thanks — they should pay guests to eat that. Service was bottom-tier. Staff were rude, unwilling to help, and acted like guests were a disturbance. No standards, no courtesy, no competence. The location is awful. Far from the city, inconvenient to reach anything useful, and falsely marketed as acceptable. If your goal is to enjoy Bratislava or even move around comfortably — forget it. This hotel is not just bad — it’s below minimum viable hotel standard. ❗ Summary: Dirty breakfast · Paid-for everything · Terrible staff attitude · Awful location · Hospitality punishment rules"

The whole space is stunning – modern, elegant, and filled with subtle details that create a calming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the soft lighting, pleasant scent, and the sense that everything had been carefully thought out. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, explaining everything and making sure I could fully relax without any worries. The treatments were fantastic – after the red light therapy and infrared sauna, I felt lighter, refreshed, and completely clear-headed. For me, Vitalness is exactly the kind of place you want to return to whenever you need to escape the everyday rush and find a bit of peace."

"The best part of this hostel is the location. It’s ideal to move around either on foot or by public transportation. There are enough shower/toilet rooms not to wait in line. Not every single bed is applied with a socket. Check in is at 3pm which I find is a bit too late. Amazing cat comes over from time to time and is quite playful. Everything you can think of can be bought at the reception via card only."

For my small asks, he could have shrugged them away as generally happens in European countries. But he found solutions. I called to see how to make the AC work, I was told there is no air conditioning for cooling. But in some time, he brought me a standing fan which was a pleasant surprise and made my stay comfortable during the hot summers. Thank you Philip and also the other girl, who did not speak much, but was generous and helping too."
