"Lovely hotel with cosy character. Our room was large enough for 2, clean and enjoyed facilities such as a kettle and Nespresso machine, a safe and a stocked minibar with complimentary drinks. We didn't use the spa or terrace, but we did use the restaurant for breakfast, which had plenty of choice. The staff were all very helpful and friendly."

"The lobby and breakfast area are very modern, clean, and the breakfast buffet is very good food with plenty choices and several coffee machines as well as fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, fresh bread, and toast, several different types of sausages, beans, yogurt, salads, cold, cuts, and several different types of cheese. My room was modern with a good size TV and a very large bathroom. My only complaints are that the carpets in the bedroom and the hallways are dirty."

AC Hotel Bratislava Old Town

"This was our two-night stay in Slovakia. The hotel's location was excellent; taxis to the train station and Bratislava Castle cost only 4-5 euros. To get to the Old Town, just cross a pedestrian street and then another road to reach Michael's Gate, a 5-minute walk. There's a Bela supermarket on the second floor opposite the hotel, very convenient. Also nearby is the hidden gem restaurant Meštiansky pivovar, just a 3-4 minute walk away. It met all our needs for transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The room size was decent; two suitcases could be opened without a problem. The decor was relatively new. The only issue was the small shower room; water would overflow if the door wasn't closed properly. Breakfast was a standard Western buffet, nothing special. The buffets at the four hotels we stayed at were similar. There were many people there every day due to an organization holding a meeting, so I didn't experience the exceptional breakfasts mentioned in other reviews."
