Mianyang Hotels with Breakfast

I am the panda lover and my main reason to stay this hotel is because of its super fantastic location for me to visit Mianyang China Giant Panda Garden. It is super convenient for me to go there by just taking the panda base shuttle bus No. 1 within 5 minutes. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel is great as well as the breakfast provided is delicious and variety of choice.

Had a challenge trying to decide which hotel to stay in Mianyang, understanding that it is a smaller city (compared to the first-tier ones) in China and lacking in international brands. Didn't help that the first local hotel we booked in Chengdu just prior to travelling to Mianyang was a boutique hotel that... could have been better. Eventually gave a miss to the listicle on Trip for the top 4-star hotels, but went for Vienna which was in the vicinity but with a high rating (not a 4-star hotel), mostly because it didn't have the noise complaints as compared to the other hotels nearer to the train station (there's ongoing public infrastructure works ongoing in that vicinity as well). We got lucky. Because Vienna is pretty great. The hotel still feels fairly new and we got the nice spacious rooms overlooking the river. And right at the doorstep was the Wanda Plaza. which meant food, shopping and play was a stone's throw away. There isn't much facilities on offer (it's positioned as a business hotel), but we knew what we signed up for, so all was good there. Breakfast was between 7am to 10.30am and its decent enough (just make sure to go in before 10am as they won't top up the trays after). In sum, Vienna is now a local brand that I'll think of for our next forays into different cities in China.

Celebrity Youngsun Hotel is a smaller sister hotel attached to the more premium Xinhua Hotel. Xinhua Hotel appears to be the main business while Celebrity Youngsun is the cheaper stay located in an inconvenient to access annexe building quite a walk away from the reception. Further, the annexe building itself has narrow stairs and corridors, no elevators provided (really troublesome if you have luggage) and the corridors and stairs are poorly lit and rather dark and a bit spooky for the faint of heart. Location thus gets a low score as the only plus point is that it is close to several bus stops and not too far from the Yuewang Tower. Amenities are decent and free breakfast is included in the stay with a decent spread provided. The hotel also has a rather popular restaurant, but as there was an event going on, did not have a chance to dine there.

I chose the Ji Hotel Mianyang Anchang Bridge for my business trip to Mianyang this time, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I had such a comfortable stay that I just have to rave about it! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right by the Anchang Bridge in Fucheng District, offering a direct view of the Fujiang River. You can enjoy the river scenery as soon as you open the window – misty mornings, stunning sunsets in the evening, the ambiance is just perfect. Getting around is super convenient, it's close to a commercial district, and downstairs there's a food court with all sorts of local specialties like Chinese noodles, hotpot, and dry pot dishes. You don't have to go far for food or shopping. If you're driving, there's even free parking with plenty of charging spaces, which is a huge relief. The overall decor of the lobby and common areas is quiet and cozy, with a strong scholarly atmosphere and a gentle, minimalist aesthetic throughout. The rooms are spacious and bright, with excellent natural light and ventilation, and the cleanliness is impeccable – not a speck of dust anywhere. They come with King Koil mattresses and skin-friendly bedding, which are soft and supportive, ensuring a good night's sleep and great relaxation. The room itself has a subtle white tea fragrance, complemented by natural essential oil toiletries that are soothing and healing. The quality of the toiletries is top-notch. The smart amenities are a thoughtful touch, with electric curtains and a smart toilet. There's also a desk for work and multi-spec sockets, perfectly adequate for business needs. I must give a special shout-out to the breakfast! The variety is rich and refined, with Chinese pastries, porridges, cold dishes, hot dishes, fruits, and desserts all available. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are authentic, and the Wuchang rice is incredibly fragrant. You can try something different every day – it’s nutritious and warming. The facilities are also excellent. There's a clean, well-equipped gym for a relaxing workout after a morning run, and a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient for business trips or travel. They even have an indoor golf leisure area, fulfilling all your recreational needs in one place. The service is the biggest plus. The front desk staff are warm and polite, making check-in and check-out efficient and quick. They were patient and attentive throughout, responding promptly to any requests, with truly thoughtful attention to detail. Whether it's for a business trip, a family vacation, or a short getaway, this hotel is just perfect. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Mianyang!

The room facilities were okay, but there was a construction site next door, which was quite noisy starting at 7 am, seriously affecting my rest. Breakfast was good. I only stayed one night, so I didn't have much to say about the service. However, I forgot my key at the hotel after checking out. I only realized it three hours after I left, by which time the room had already been cleaned. I called to ask, and they said they would check if they had it. Later, I had to call again to find out they had indeed left a key. The good thing was that they still gave it to the delivery guy after I placed a delivery order. In terms of the key-finding process, the service was definitely not good! Of course, if I hadn't been so careless, this wouldn't have happened!

This looks like is a new hotel or under renovation, quite good. Location is near the train station, and right off multiple food streets/ night market. Easy to call cars and taxis. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast included. Simple but good. However, can always grab some snacks at reception. The room was fine with various amenities, including shampoos and drinking water. Room was clean and bed super comfotable. There is a kettle but takes forever to boil, no coffee or tea, and cups aren't washed daily. Our toothbrushes were thrown away daily on 4 day vacation, which felt a bit like a waste. One thing that was odd was a rooster 🐓 that was making noise from 4.30am every day, in the building across.

This stay experience was really beyond expectations! First of all, I have to praise the location of the homestay. The surrounding environment is too comfortable. It is very pleasant whether it is a walk or a view of the scenery. The air is very fresh and there is no noise in the city at all. I feel very relaxed when I live in. What is more heartwarming is the enthusiasm of the boss, from check-in to departure, the whole process is particularly thoughtful. Take the initiative to help with the luggage, come back at night and smile and say hello to ask how the stay is, that kind of intimacy is like going to a friend's house, and the room change in the middle is also very straightforward. The room was clean and tidy, and the stay was very safe. Overall, the environment is extra points, the service is extra points, I will definitely choose this one next time I come here.

The hotel has a good location, close to major attractions such as Yue Wang Tower and Tie Niu Square. The area around the hotel is lively and has everything you need, but the facilities are a bit outdated. It's a pretty good choice for short-term stays.

This is definitely the hotel for me once i return to Manyang City for official matters... Sinwell Hotel is conveniently & strategically located directly opposite to the MIANYANG Train Station where we are deployed to this beautiful City! Food is fabulous surrounding the hotel & there is a huge shopping mall nearby with many convenience for all... Hotel staffs were friendly & rooms are clean and tidy... very quiet hotel for a good night's rest! Definite recommend ALL to this hotel!
