An absolutely delightful stay! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience feel warm and truly like a home away from home. The room was much more spacious than I expected, and the specific room type I had was unique and charming – I was thoroughly impressed. My favorite part was the view of Dukezong Ancient City from the room; it created such a special ambiance, with different beauty visible morning and evening. Overall, the environment, room comfort, and service were excellent, adding so much to my Shangri-La trip. I would happily stay here again!

I had a particularly satisfying stay this time! The hotel's location is excellent, just a street away from the East Gate of the old city, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and check-in and check-out were handled very efficiently. They even proactively offered refreshments while I waited for my car at the front desk, which was a thoughtful and heartwarming detail. The soundproofing was outstanding; I wasn't disturbed at all during the night. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, the price was reasonable, and it offered great value for money. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to friends who are traveling!

The best decision I made in Shangri-La was choosing this guesthouse; it single-handedly made my entire high-altitude trip enjoyable! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town's Moonlight Square and the Giant Prayer Wheel. It’s wonderfully quiet yet centrally located, perfect for exploring and dining out, then returning to a peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Most importantly, it came with an individual oxygen concentrator, which meant I wasn't worried about altitude sickness at all on my first high-altitude trip, and I slept incredibly soundly. The owner is super enthusiastic, offering free airport transfers both ways. The breakfast was varied, with delicious Yunnan rice noodles, and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. Any requests were handled super quickly. It offers an immersive ******* living experience while still providing modern comforts. Next time I'm in Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Diqing!

An absolutely amazing stay at Shangri-La! The room was great and the courtyard was spacious. Climbing onto the roof of the small wooden house in the courtyard late at night to stargaze is a memory I'll cherish forever! We brought our four dogs on a road trip, and our little ones got along so well with the hotel's dogs, Coffee and Cola. Every day when we came back from outside, Coffee and Cola would greet us and even follow us into our room – it was like having a six-dog family, haha! They were both so calm and well-behaved. We absolutely adored them and ended up giving them all the toys we brought for our own dogs! If I ever come back to Shangri-La, I will definitely, definitely, definitely stay here again. Coffee and Cola, I hope we can see you again. We love you both so much, I almost teared up when we left 😢. Wishing all the little ones a safe and happy life!

A perfect stay for those seeking peace and relaxation. The hotel offers stunning mountain and meadow views, with beautiful walking paths and scenery similar to Heidou Café nearby. Guests receive a voucher for a complimentary Americano and cookies at the café (other menu items are available with a small top-up). The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel also provides convenient shuttle service to and from the railway station. Didi rides are easy to book, and the Old Town is only about 20 minutes away. How to review this place? Absolutely amazing! All the room amenities are top-notch, clearly chosen with great care. They offered complimentary afternoon tea, and the mini-fridge was stocked with an incredible variety of free snacks and drinks. The hotel provides carrots for feeding the animals – there are cows, alpacas, deer, donkeys, and horses – you can just open your door and feed them! Next to the hotel is Napahai Lake, with unbeatable scenery. Aside from hotel guests, there's hardly anyone around, so you can quietly enjoy it all to yourself. Breakfast is on the fourth floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views. The breakfast spread is rich and thoughtfully prepared. The butler and hotel staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help. The front desk also has a great selection of pure-flavor milk candies. It's not far from Dukezong Ancient Town, so no worries about finding food. They even deliver soup to your room in the evening. The whole experience was fantastic! What really stood out was how much thought went into the amenities: Dyson hairdryer, Smeg kettle, HCK retro mini-fridge, black pottery tea set, very expensive vintage-style furniture, Supor handheld garment steamer, AKBK trash can, Philips universal travel adapter. In short, it’s absolutely exquisite and highly recommended!

This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything! The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community. The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous. My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters). The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station. I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life. Thanks again, and Tashi Delek !

The environment is fantastic! It's the cozy cabin I was hoping for, with views of grassy fields and distant mountains right outside the door. Plus, there are sheep that act like puppies and aloof alpacas 🦙. Facilities: Excellent. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the toilet is fully automatic, and there's a comfy sofa. Cleanliness: Very clean. Service: The hotel food is absolutely delicious! I didn't leave the hotel for three days, ate wonderfully, and slept comfortably. I was originally torn between choosing Anren Banyan Tree and here, but the beautiful scenery, great food, and friendly animals made this a perfect travel experience. My vacation ended on a high note! Black Bean Cafe Afternoon Tea: The iced Americano was delicious~

I have traveled for more than two months and stayed in the most satisfying one. The room is very large, very clean, the decoration is very new, the high-end Tibetan residential decoration, there is floor heating in the whole house oxygen supply, smart toilet, and breakfast. Parking in the scenic area is very convenient. The room scenery is very good. I chose this place because of the quiet parking lot. It’s not far to various scenic spots. There is a viewing platform 50 meters next to the homestay. The scenery is beautiful and the price is very high. Especially the landlord is very caring and enthusiastic. I have been asking what I need. The bed is very comfortable. It is the first choice for Shangri-La. It is highly recommended as a senior traveler! ! !

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The room was exactly as described: very clean, surprisingly large, and the floor heating in the main area was a welcome feature. The location is truly excellent—easy to find, a short distance from the ancient city, and incredibly convenient for taxis. Having a supermarket right downstairs and access to fantastic local restaurants was a huge plus. The only area for improvement is the bathroom temperature. As there is no heating element, it became quite cold during the night, which was a bit uncomfortable. Despite this, we would happily return for the great value and ideal location.
