Zhangjiakou Hotels with Breakfast

Very authentic Chinese four sided courtyard guesthouse. We loved the atmosphere that represented the old historic courtyard, the location in the old town and the friendly staff. The place was renovated in an authentic way that feels original and several elements look very old. Definitely would return if we are back in the area. It most likely would be difficult to get here without a car. Once in the old town the guesthouse is super easily reachable.

Facilities: The room facilities are very new and well-designed. The underground parking is convenient, with easy entry and exit. Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff are very diligent and friendly, cleaning promptly. Environment: The overall design of the hotel is very thoughtful. Service: The front desk staff are kind and answer all questions, even proactively introducing hotel facilities and services. A fruit plate is provided daily. This is my second stay, and I'm still very satisfied.

Crowne Plaza CHONGLI RESORT by IHG is closer to the mountains and the Xingmang Restaurant that I always pass during my trail runs. That's why this time I chose it specifically for its location, instead of other places in Chongli. The scenery is truly beautiful! Also, this is the best hotel in Cuiyunshan, and the service is excellent. Before I even checked in, my butler Xiao Luo contacted me. During my three-day stay, Xiao Luo frequently checked in to see if I needed anything. The service was exceptional! The hotel also offers travel photography, and Juanzi, the photographer, did a fantastic job! In short, I'll definitely be coming back.

Beijing was too hot, so the kids kicked us out to do their homework over the weekend. We came to Chongli for a hike, and it's so cool here. I picked this hotel, which is relatively new in Chongli, having opened in 2020. I hadn't been to Cuiyun Mountain before, and it's quite nice. The breakfast is great, packed with Chongli elements – savory and fragrant enough to instantly take me back to my childhood. I was given a lake view room, which offers a perfect view of the entire area in front of the hotel. In the morning, I went for a roughly 3km run. There's a boardwalk behind the hotel that you can hike up directly to the Xingmang Library. It has four pavilions and shaded paths, so it's not sunny. It's about 1.5km with an elevation gain of 264 meters. Service-wise, it was pretty good, but the hotel staff were *too* diligent. They called to rush us even before check-in, and then kept calling relentlessly before 12 PM for check-out. That part was really annoying.

The hotel has a limited number of twin rooms, and most of them are located at the far end of the corridor. For dining options, you'll need to go to Thaiwoo Town or eat at the InterContinental Hotel next door. Everything else was great. The room was very clean and comfortable, and it's quite close to Chongli Station, about a 10-15 minute walk. There's also a small garden nearby where you can take a mini-train ride around the lake, and in the evenings, you can go for a swim at the InterContinental's pool. It's not too far from Thaiwoo either, and while there's a shuttle, I didn't use it, preferring to walk there and back. It's a nice place to stay for a couple of days if you want to relax and clear your mind. It's very convenient, right by the high-speed rail station.

This time, I stayed at this apartment for my trip to Chongli, and the overall experience was great. The hotel is located near Genting Hotel, making it very convenient for getting around. The surrounding scenery is expansive, and the air in the mountains is exceptionally good. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the sound insulation was quite good. There's a significant temperature difference between day and night in the mountains, but the room heating was powerful, so it was very warm at night. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and the service was enthusiastic. Parking was also convenient, making it very hassle-free for those driving. This place is perfect for a vacation in Chongli, and I'll choose it again next time I visit.

The room was incredibly comfortable, and they even gave us a free upgrade since we had two seniors with us. When the elderly complained about the AC not being cool enough at night, someone came to fix it immediately. Our own room had a view of Taiwoo Night, and it was especially beautiful when they released sky lanterns after the evening performance. The hotel breakfast was also very rich, and they even had different options for the two mornings we stayed. The hotel pool was very clean, and the gym, though not huge, had a lot of equipment. Plus, staying at the hotel got us a 20% discount on the cable car. The mountain scenery was breathtaking, and after the rain, there was a rainbow arching over the valley, like a painting. There were also tons of entertainment options at the foot of the mountain. In the evening, the hotel bar had a live singer, and their smoky, boozy voice was absolutely amazing! Next time I come to Taiwoo, I'll definitely stay here again!

For a ski trip to Genting, I highly recommend staying at Genting Residences. You can literally ski in and out of the resort, which is incredibly convenient. After a short ski, you're right at the cable car, saving you a lot of hassle with driving or walking – a huge time-saver! Just a little further down, you'll find the Genting Ski Resort lobby and the Genting Grand Hotel, making dining and shopping super easy. When you're tired from skiing, coming back and relaxing on the balcony in the sun is just pure bliss. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the underfloor heating is wonderfully comfortable. Having stayed in at least a dozen ski-in/ski-out hotels, Genting Residences is my absolute top pick. This is the kind of quality accommodation every skier deserves.

Our family stayed at the Fulong Refreshing Hotel in Chongli during the Mid-Autumn Festival with our child, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations! Before leaving, I saw a few reviews that made me a bit worried about the room and the cleanliness of the Polar Bear Fun Park, but our actual stay was great. The Polar Bear Fun Park is huge with a wide variety of activities, and our baby loved it so much they didn't want to leave. There are also 3 pump tracks in the park, perfect for kids to cycle on. I also just learned that you can do downhill biking here in the summer. I saw quite a few people doing it and it made me eager to try, but unfortunately, I couldn't book a coach this time, which was a small regret. The autumn scenery in the town is beautiful, and even though it wasn't ski season yet, the ski slope conditions were clear to see. The resort facilities are comprehensive, with amusement rides, an underground commercial street, and complete ski facilities. It's incredibly close to Chongli county town, making it very convenient to go there for meals. Our family had a fully satisfying one-stop experience for dining, lodging, and entertainment. Although the hotel details might be slightly below those of a top luxury hotel, the overall value for money is excellent. We look forward to coming back for skiing in winter!

Service was excellent! Front desk assistant Xue Mingxia helped us extend our check-out time until 2 PM. That was incredibly thoughtful, especially during the hot summer. It was great to stay at such a value-for-money hotel in Chongli for a summer escape.
