"Good is location. If you want hotel by the sea, then this is it. No other hotel offer such sea view and islands of Lae Lae. Bad points: Unfortunately the hotel is old and dirty. The lobby ceiling leaked, ac outlets are dirty. Room's cleanliness is average, chair and carpet are old and dirty. Bed sheets were a bit dirty. Everyday bath towels are smelly. No small towels for hand. Mininimum amenities. The breakfast spread is ok, fare of indonesian soto, mie ayam, various of nasi and chickens, egss, cakes fruits. The rooms is a bit damp, AC is average and noisy. Toom is thinly insulated, you can hear the noise from people talking at the alleys. Staff are friendly. This hotel should be 2 or 3 stars"

"The reception staff went our their way to help me: they directed my Bluebird taxi driver, as he could not speak English; they helped me with ordering a Grab taxi; and even after I left the hotel, they contacted me to notify me about a restaurant I was asking them about. GGuest UserI wouldn’t recommend this hotel except maybe for the breakfast (buffet) which was good (nothing crazy either).
Otherwise, the service wasn’t really great, they don’t speak well English, we asked if it was possible to have the room earlier (we came with the night bus from Rantepao at 5.00 am), before noon no, except if we paid more (more than half day) or if we stayed a day shorter… well…
Then room was small, not a lot of light came in and smelt of moisture.

SShakespeareActually I oredered the room with see view but I got city view, also the room that I got not like what I expected, it was romm with connecting door which is not my preference and from my view the room 509 hasn't been use for long time and it was seems forced to be open because all the room was packed. the water super dirty when you flush the toilet, the AC is leaked and not working properly which made me waited around 1 hour to be fixed. I mean why you did not check it before you open and sell that room?. However the the bed was clean the room smells good and the receptionists was too slow but kind
if you ask me do I want to booked again, the answer is no because I paid pretty decent money for this room
There are a lot good price hotels near there so I hope Khas Makassar Hotel should learn from my story

EExpressRLSheraton Hotel? It doesn't feel like it. The setting is very old. The decoration style feels like it was 10 years ago. There is not even a hair dryer. There is no shopping mall nearby. It is really difficult for Chinese people to go out and find some suitable food. The loudspeaker of the mosque is almost facing the hotel. The prayer at 9:00 is very loud. Fortunately, I was not woken up in the early morning.

PPandaLautNeed better pest control. In the room I stayed, I observed some german cockroaches (blatella germanica) that coming out from under the bed, in the bathroom, and around work table area, especially in the nighttime. Apparently I also found one tomcat just before check out earlier.

GGuest UserThe receptionist and security guard were friendly, we were given an early check-in dispensation, we arrived at 11, we waited a while, at 11.30 we were allowed to check in even though it should have been at 14.00, there was a welcome drink in the lobby, the water was strong like a fire engine, it was really cool. The room was clean, there were no sandals, there were 4 clothes hangers, it was pretty good

RRusdiI don’t know what to say cuz I am thinking to say about the good things. the most I hate in this hotel is the wifi, it’s super poor. You need to log in with the username and password that was given by the receptionist. And then when I am connecting the wifi in my room, oh God this is disaster. So well, I am using roaming in Indonesia and my roaming went smoothly then the wifi. I even can’t open google. Or refresh my instagram. It’s super super slow. I need to go to the lobby if I wanted to use the wifi since my roaming has limited access too. And the bathroom is just too small but its unique the concept like in the airplane.
The only thing I like in this hotel is the location and the reception is super friendly, and there are many options for breakfast but mostly for Indonesian traditional foods.

The staff are warm and efficient and the rooms large and comfy.
Breakfast is above decent.
It’s a bit off the main shopping street but still central enough to reach anywhere in the city with Grabcar for RP13000 to 27000.

AAnindya azaliaLocated strategically at sam ratulangi street. The staffs are not well trained, the reception doesn’t even know the meaning of TWIN BED that I had to argue with him? Showers are not properly functioning. Breakfast was quite ok…
There’s always at least one miscommunication between me and the reception staff on every each day, such a draining experience to stay at this hotel especially when you’re on vacation.

The location is excellent and the travel is very convenient. There are many transportation hubs around, which can be easily reached whether it is to the commercial center or tourist attractions.
The hotel has an elegant environment, from the lobby to the guest rooms, every place is exquisite and quality. The lobby is spacious and bright, beautifully decorated, and people feel the noble atmosphere as soon as they step in.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, warm and elegantly furnished. The beds are soft and comfortable, ensuring a good quality of sleep. The rooms are fully equipped, from high-speed wireless network to modern bathroom equipment, to meet various needs.
The service was impeccable. The staff were warm and friendly, professional and efficient. They always smiled whenever and wherever and provided thoughtful service to guests. From check-in to check-out, the whole process was very smooth.
The dining is also amazing. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food options, whether local specialties or international cuisine, which are delicious. The breakfast is rich in variety and can be full of vitality for the new day.
