Mirissa Hotels with Breakfast

This homestay is really beautiful. Although deep in the alley, the arrangement is very intimate. The front desk can help call the tutu car and go to the restaurant near the beach. The whole hotel is right by the canal, there are different birds on the balcony, and wild peacocks visit. Facilities and equipment are also very new. The only fly in the ointment is that it is very close to the canal. If it rains at night, the rain is really loud. There will be bugs visiting the room, but the flaws are not concealed, and the accommodation experience is great.

Checked in early, we arrived at about 1 pm (this is already the third hotel in Sri Lanka out of 3, where we were checked in early without problems). But for the money, it is big, clean, there is a kettle, hair dryer, safe, wardrobe, balcony. In general, all the amenities. Not far from the ocean (100 m). There are many shops and cafes nearby. For such a price, an excellent choice. I recommend.

Absolutely beautiful colonial-style house with antique furniture and real character! Everything was clean and carefully presented. We were greeted with refreshing drinks and shown to a stunning room with TWO balconies and its own little attic. We really enjoyed the delicious and varied breakfasts, which much better coffee than we drank elsewhere. The pool was also a huge benefit after a hot day exploring Mirissa. The Spice House is very near the beaches and plenty of nice restaurants and cafes. Its staff were friendly and helpful - and we even had a nice chat with the owners one evening. Definitely recommend!

Four people booked two rooms. This one is on the first floor. The facilities are average, but they are air-conditioned. They ordered the whale watching boat ticket from the boss the next day. The ticket was handed to the driver. The driver changed the cruise ship and made a difference.

A very nice hotel, clean room. Friendly staff, varied breakfast. The beach is nearby, a 5-minute walk. I was on a high floor, with a beautiful view of palm trees and a bit of the ocean on both sides. Monkeys often come to visit in the morning. It's best not to leave trash on the balcony, they'll steal it 😁 The Wi-Fi is decent, not great, but it's serviceable. Everything is clean. Overall, I recommend it 👌

Мини гостиница с очень приятной семейной парой менеджеров. Номера просторные, с кондиционером и вентилятором, большими душевыми комнатами. На втором этаже есть балконы.Вкусный завтрак, за 14 дней повторений не было. Расположена на горке, поэтому с океана всегда лёгкий бриз. Немного на удалении от центра, поэтому тихо, бегают обезьяны и павлины. В пешей доступности три пляжа с разной инфраструктурой, две семейных кафешки с местной домашней кухней и соками. Нам очень понравилось.

Good location. It is in beach road and plenty of options to eat outside. Everything is in walkable distance. We had sea view room which gave a beautiful start to the day in early morning. The only thing that troubled me was there was no elevator hence I had to take the luggage through stairs to 2nd floor. The owner helped me as well to carry the luggage. I would definitely recommend this place for your stay as it provides a good atmosphere. They have a kitchen for your self cooking where you can prepare your own food. Triple O Six boasts a great location, right across from Coconut Hill, and offers spacious, well-designed rooms. However, the floors always seem slightly damp for some reason, which can get on your nerve. Another downside is the breakfast buffet charge—at 5000 LKR per person, it's just exorbitant. Despite these issues, the hotel remains a solid option for its location and comfort, just get your breakfast somewhere else.

My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

I enjoyed my time at Ara Beach Resort, thanks to its excellent location and the fabulous pool. The staff were friendly and added to the resort's pleasant atmosphere. However, I'd suggest a little more focus on cleaning and keeping the buffet breakfast items hot. The food was delicious but consistently served cold. With these small changes, Ara Beach Resort could be even more wonderful.
