I had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall service was good. I’m satisfied with my experience and would consider staying here again.

Room is cleaned every day. Toiletries and bottled water replenished daily. Bfast is satisfactory. Rooftop resto is a plus. Staff - very friendly and helpful. There is no microwave to heat food. You can’t bring pomelo to your room due to sanitary policies. Lobby is under renovation but it’s ok.

Ideal for families who just want to relax and stay in the heart of Davao City. Near major malls and beside the hotel is the ppark and durian museum. They booked us in the 3rd floor which is very accessible for kids to dive into the pool. Our breakfast was great, we encountered a minor incident but the kitchen manager handled it very well. From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. I enjoyed my stay here, so much so that I kept extending my stay in Davao with Royal Mandaya. Loved the feeling of home away from home as it was my first time in Davao City. My only gripe would probably be the efficiency of the service for some of the things I requested early on for my stay prior to a celebration that I got lucky to be invited to. I hope that in-house services would be provided in a timely manner so that guests' schedules won't have to suffer. Other than that, it's all good. What I liked: - good location - excellent customer service - beautiful reception - the breakfast was authentic and tasty What I did not like: - cockroach was found in my room - the rooms and bathrooms are extremely dated in desperate need for a redo, despite some efforts for refurbishment since my last stay earlier this year - the TV is pretty much just a decoration in room, about 4-5 channels are available with poor signal quality, without any exaggeration it is impossible to view. Not a Smart TV, so no YouTube or Netflix to keep you entertained, if you choose to stay here, - it is poor value for the price/night, the recent price increase is really not justifiable

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring. My room was clean and spacious, well-equipped with everything I needed, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was also quite good. The staff were all friendly and enthusiastic, providing thoughtful and attentive service, and communication was always smooth. The overall atmosphere was quiet and elegant, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It offers great value for money, and I had a wonderful experience staying here as a foreigner. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Crown Regency Residences for a week, and overall it was a great choice—especially for budget travelers with kids. One of the biggest highlights was the unlimited pool access until 10 PM every day, which our family really enjoyed. It made a huge difference in keeping the kids entertained without needing to go out and spend extra. The place offers hotel-like service, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. While the building itself does show its age and could use some updates, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re traveling as a family and looking for something affordable with good amenities, this is definitely a place worth considering. Despite its older appearance, I would still choose to stay here again for a budget-friendly family trip.
