AAnonymous UserI booked a room with a bathtub, but they gave me one with only a shower. I had to go back to the front desk to switch rooms, which they did quickly. However, neither the front desk nor the staff offered any apologies, which I found strange since they made the mistake. Then, in the room with the bathtub, there was only lukewarm water, no hot water, so I couldn't shower. I had to switch back to the shower-only room to wash up. After persistent requests, the bathtub in my room was fixed the next day, but the plug leaked, so I had to find a way to fix it myself. What's more interesting is that after all these issues, the staff still didn't seem to feel sorry for the guests. The scenery is beautiful, and it's great value for money. There are also bicycles available in the park. However, their service attitude, in my opinion, is unacceptable.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed in a three-storey apartment at this hotel for one night with my family. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the bathrooms were spotless. The mattresses were cozy and soft. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and they offered us a wide variety of breakfast items free of charge.

KKate7777Overall vibes and service of resort staff were awesome. Though it’s stated 5-star, amenities were dated. Space is big, gets a little spooky at night due to extreme darkness around the area. Knowing the history of kanchanaburi I couldn’t step out after 9pm 😂 No Netflix hence you could wind down and relax at this place.
If you want a relaxing place to stay, definitely consider Dheva Mantra.

Super convenient for drivers — close to Robinson, Kaew Boutique (Thai desserts & local souvenirs 🍡), and the Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal.
Plus, most tourist spots are just about a 15-20-minute drive away — including Meena Cafe, Kwai River Bridge, Sky Walk, Kanchanaburi Station, and JJ Night Market.

It definitely felt like a popular spot for business travelers. I saw quite a few company groups during breakfast — which also says a lot about its reliability and value!

Simple but satisfying! They rotate the main dish (like beef or chicken krapao 🌶️), and also offer fruits, salads, cereals, sausages, and eggs. Nothing fancy, but honestly tasty and filling.

This was a highlight — very clean, modern, and well-designed. The space is used efficiently, making the room feel comfortable without being cramped.

GGuest UserThis hotel's design is incredibly stylish. It's a historic property that beautifully showcases Kanchanaburi's architectural heritage. The architects did a fantastic job reinterpreting traditional elements like red bricks, bamboo, and cement, integrating them seamlessly into the hotel. I found that very moving! The coconut ice cream we got at check-in was absolutely delicious; I'd love to have it again. Our room even had a river view from the window. While the hotel isn't huge, it offers a great chance to experience a sense of history. The breakfast was good too! 🍽️

GGuest UserMy girlfriend (who is Thai) and I (who am Swedish) arrived around 9 AM and were able to store our luggage in a storage room. After some sightseeing, we returned around noon and got our room, even though check-in was officially at 2 PM.
When I had some questions for the receptionist, who claimed to speak English, she responded in Thai to my girlfriend even though I was the one asking. I found this quite rude.
The information provided was poor. In the room, there was a whole sheet detailing what it would cost if the room was very dirty or damaged, along with many 'no-smoking' signs.
Summary: Cheap accommodation a fair distance from the city, average service, room and pool were perfectly fine.

easy check in system, you just need to see the owner and can directly check in to the room. room is huge, bathroom is clean. has refrigerator too.
locationwise, walkable to the night market and to the Kanchanaburi train station. from Kanchanaburi train station you have to cross the road and walk a little bit deeper to the shops area and small alley.
however to go to the bus station, you might need to take grab because its about 2-3km distance.

GGuest UserVery clean, attached bath room. Very good vibes around the campsite. They take pride in maintaining the site to pristine condition. Enjoyed the marshmallow bon fire, the sunset by the river, the chilly weather at night and early morning. Good breakfast provided, and we ordered Mookata for dinner. Will surely return again during cold season
