Hotels Near Mehrerau Park in Bregenz

We stayed five days to visit the Bodensee, Bregenz Festival and a glimpse of Vorarlberg. We rarely enjoyed such a mixture of understated luxury, comfort and staff friendliness. The room was great, spacious, with a breathtaking view over the lake and mountains, well-equipped - a mention for the fluffy bathrobes - and both the spa and the ”Badehaus”, a specificity on the Bodensee, were both elegant and well appointed. An impressive breakfast buffet begins the day, meals on the large garden terrace are really inventive and excellent. A highly recommended place to stay,.

The hotel is 5 *****, location ( best in town), excellent facilities, beautifully decorated, great room, cleanest ever, but most important- great service! Mr. Hutter is a gem! We chose this hotel as we were going to the Bregenzer Festspiel and it was perfect. It is just a five minute walk to the train station and the train gets you to Bregenz in a few minutes more. It’s a brand new, stylish hotel, just a year old. We had a really nice, modern room with plenty of places to plug in our various devices. Although it overlooked a roundabout (and we could see to Austria in the distance), it was quiet and we slept well. The free bottle of water in the room is a nice touch. The nearest carpark costs 20 francs but you can park at the train station for 7 francs or free on the street until 9am. We were made to feel very welcome by both gentlemen on reception. A particular thank you to Herr Niederer who, as well as being friendly and professional, was generous with our welcome drinks. We will certainly be back!

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in June 2023 to vacation on Lake Constance. Lake Constance can be reached from the hotel in 15 minutes by car. Dornbirn city center is within walking distance. Dornbirn train station is right next door, but that's not a problem. We liked the hotel overall, but it also has some weak points. You can tell that the hotel is very new, everything is very modern and we liked the style. The room was clean, but one day our room cleaning was completely forgotten. We could only change the towels at reception in the evening. But the room was no longer cleaned. We have never experienced this in any other 4-star hotel and it shouldn't happen. Care products such as conditioner and especially tea and coffee were never refilled by the cleaning staff. Unfortunately, we couldn't drink coffee or tea on the last few days and the kettle was therefore useless if you don't have any products for it anymore. Unfortunately, there is no blackout curtain on the window. The curtain was white and did not darken the room. So it was bright as day in the room at 5 a.m. Not so nice if you actually want to sleep in on vacation, and of course that's difficult in a brightly lit room where the sun is shining. Otherwise you would have had a really wonderful night's sleep, as the beds were very comfortable and it was always very quiet. Unfortunately, there is no table in the room. If you want to write something on your tablet or laptop, the only option is the bed. This also means there are no shelves. There is enough cupboard space for clothes, but for everything else you have on a table (tablet, laptop, cell phone, keyboard, etc.) the only option is the floor. The WiFi is extremely fast and worked perfectly. We really liked the wellness area, it was always very quiet and clean. Unfortunately, there are no towels available in the wellness area, so you only have your bathrobe and a single towel for the sauna for the entire stay. It is therefore impossible to shower in the sauna area with a fresh towel, also because there is no shower gel or shampoo in the sauna showers. This should be a given in a 4-star hotel and we know it from other hotels. The hotel promotes sustainability, but unfortunately there are only disposable plastic cups in the rooms and in the wellness area. This is not appropriate for a 4-star hotel and is particularly not sustainable and should be urgently reconsidered. The staff were very friendly throughout, especially the staff at reception and in the restaurant. We mostly ate dinner in the hotel. The menu is very varied and the food was always very good. The positives first! Nice welcome when we arrived. The room was large and even had a walk in closet. I haven't seen that very often in a hotel! Otherwise, a somewhat boring breakfast, and a strange sound coming from the sink made it a little difficult to sleep. We arrived late and left early, otherwise we would have complained and asked for a different room, but we told the reception when we checked out. Clean and nice hotel, but not quite our style.

From the time we arrived (which was 5 hours before check-in) everything was amazing. Super professional, kind and prestative staff....room is super clean and well equiped. Breakfast is also top notch point....very fresh and straight to the point. I will and definitely recommend it. The location is also very good, close to restaurants and everything that you need.

Stayed 4 nights over Christmas at this Hotel. Staff were excellent as was the whole experience.On Christmas Day they organised a wonderful Christmas dinner with entertainment as part of the package. Whoever was responsible for the cleaning of our room was to be commended , can't go into detail here but it was somebody with a wonderful sense of humour..

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very clean and modern. Our room on the 10th floor had a great view. There are two swimming pools, an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool is really nice and offers great views whilst swimming. There is a steam room and numerous saunas although some of them were closed. Despite not being in the centre of Dornbirn, there is a shopping centre and exhibition centre next door and there are very frequent buses to the centre as well as the number 14 bus to Bregenz. The only negative I can think of is that there wasn't a door in the bathroom, which was a bit odd. It wasn't a big issue for me and my wife but could be for some people. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel and is very good value for money.

Contactless Check In has super hit, rooms were very nice and modern furnished. You have everything you need.

Parking is convenient, 20 minutes drive to St. Gallen. The scenery is good and you can see Lake Constance from afar. The breakfast is very rich, there are many types of food, the rooms are average, most of the hotels in Europe are like this.
