Garda Family House ★★★
"I booked through a coupon and we had to postpone because we were sick. When I called to move our stay I was told that there would be no problem and I could choose the new date. When I later called to communicate the chosen date, I was informed that I would have to choose the date by the end of the month, 2 weeks. Your inconsistency led me to leave a bad review. I would have gladly paid a higher fee (as previously requested by you), to be able to see a place where we had never been. I am bitter that I was taken for a ride, if you had said things clearly right away there would have been no problem."
Belfiore Park Hotel ★★★★
"Manager Manuel and his team have put together a first class, unforgettable, couple get-away and unwind experience on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. If you want to stay in, there is the Ayudervic spa experiences, lake side and outside pool relax areas, with evening lighting and bar music. Have Alejandro’s signature Iceberg cocktail watching the sunset on the private pier on the lake itself, or the Michelin-starred gastronomic experience with carefully chosen and all-locally sourced produce. If you want to explore, take an e-bike cycle to Malcesine castle and have gelato by the harbour or go further afield in the hotels own Fiat 500. We wired up the Apple TV, to catch up on Boxsets, and even took in some live music at the Hotel Eden next door. Thank you to the whole team for making this such a rejuvenating trip."
Hotel Drago by Double Hospitality ★★★
"It was a good stay. There was an absolute mislead in the parking process. Apparently they are reserved spots and if you come later in a day you have to park outside. This was definitely not explained or highlighted. The hotel itself is very clean and has all the basic necessities. The bar nearby with live music was a definite bonus!"
Hotel Merano ★★★
"This lovely hotel on the edge of Lake Garda is a gem! The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfy; the views are to die for and the food was tasty and plentiful. A great base from which to explore, hire a bike 🏍 or just sit by the Lake or swim. (The Lake is crystal clear). Whilst the clientele was predominantly german, it didn't feel awkward as it can do sometimes and our thanks go to Deborah and Sophia for making us feel so welcome and making our stay so great."
Hotel Pace ★
Lake Front Hotel Brenzone ★★★★
"So very disappointed with our stay at Hotel Brenzone. We initially booked for an overnight stay however my partner was ‘seduced’ into taking a larger room for two nights due to a cancellation. I really wish he had spoken to me first because although our initial room was only adequate it was much better than the overpriced larger room. The hotel comprises of three separate houses which makes the flow difficult and is sorely in need of an upgrade. Our larger terraced room was furnished traditionally which is understandable given the aged and type of property however the quality of the furniture and decoration was very poor given this was their ‘best’ room. We had a awful nights sleep as a result of the mattress not fitting the bed base properly and sinking to one side & the very thin, poor quality duvets. The towels in the room were also thin and offered no absorbency. Our sleep was also hampered by ‘after hours’ drinkers in the restaurant and by middle of the night persistent hammering on the door of the room next to ours. Our experience in the restaurant was marred by our food arriving cold to then to be replaced with hotter but much smaller portions! The Greek salad was uninspiring and overpriced; 80% iceberg lettuce, 10% poor quality feta cheese and tomatoes & 10% olives. On the plus side the olives were lovely and salty. Additionally despite all other quests having their wine poured for them, ours was not. The breakfast offering was OK however we were only made aware of the hot options after we had chosen from the cold buffet and had started to eat. Given our overall experience we decided to check out after only staying one night. Whilst the receptionist seemed sympathetic to our cause the hovering manager/owner did not. We were offered a €20 reduction on our €400 bill for the privilege of very little comfort or hospitality. Note at the time of our stay the receptionists at both check in and check out were both extremely friendly."
Hotel Caribe - Garda Lake Collection ★★★
"Nice hotel, friendly staff, with a very good breakfast, in a great location to explore Lake Garda and relax at the same time. Great value for money!"
Hotel Eden ★★★
"We spent 2 days here as part of a 5 week touring holiday through France, Italy, Austria and Germany. We actually were not expecting much from the hotel or the food as the price was quite reasonable. We were so impressed with everything. The room was nice with a lovely lake view although I felt the bed was a little on the firm side. The air con worked really well or you could just leave the balcony door open as it was generally quite peaceful outside. The staff were all very nice, in particular the hard working waiters in the dining room. Eating outside on the patio with such an amazing view, you would expect to pay top prices, made such a pleasant evening. We booked half board and for less that €30 each you got a 5 course meal, a bottle of water and half a bottle of the house wine which was quite good and drinkable. The food was simple fare but all very tasty, good quality and nicely presented, we were so impressed, could not fault a thing, everything cooked to perfection. You have to choose what you are going to eat in the morning at breakfast and the choice changes every day. The breakfast is also quite extensive although got to say that the coffee was not brilliant. We chose the hotel because we wanted good parking for my husbands sports car which we got, outside parking as well as an indoor garage with decent spaces. To get to the different places on the lake was a little trickier, you don’t realise how big a lake this is until you actually get here. We wanted to go to Limone & Malcesine. We got the bus and ferry timetables from the girls at reception. You have to walk about 10 minutes up the lovely promenade and then cross the road to an information office here. This is right next to the bus stop and you can buy your bus tickets from the info place. The buses run approximately every half hour. We caught the 10.30 bus to Malcesine which took about 15-20 mins. A short walk to the port and the first ferry you get to is one called “Amigos’ which leaves on the hour and takes 20 mins to get to Limone (return €9). We stayed a couple of hours and caught the ferry back to Malcesine (again on the hour). You can then either retrace your steps back by bus or there is a ferry (€3) which takes you to Assenza, does not stop here very often so check your times, but roughly 3pm and 5pm. When you get off at Assenza you can then walk about 10-15 mins along the promenade and back to the hotel. The hotel also has its own little beach and a swimming pool but we did not use either. Would definetly recommend for a couple of night stay in Lake Garda."
Hotel du Lac - Relax Attitude Hotel ★★★★
"Beautiful setting, right on the lake. Good air-conditioning, decent breakfast with freshly squeeze orange juice. Kind staff. All I am looking for a four star hotel. We only spent one day there, but spent 24 hours pretty much in the hotel, and it was a great success."

Residence Villa Margherita
"The apartment was recently completely renovated/refurbished. It is well equipped (kitchen utensils etc.) and big enough. The bathroom has also been renovated and is in top condition. There is a large walk-in shower and the washbasin is also really spacious. The welcome was very warm and friendly, we even got a welcome drink and there was also a small welcome package with pasta, tomato sauce, milk etc. in the room. That makes you feel welcome :) Checking out was also problem-free and we got a coffee before we left. We had nothing to complain about here. Thank you for your hospitality."
