Bretteville-sur-Odon Hotels with Breakfast

Fully air-conditioned, the ibis Caen Porte de Bretagne hotel is located near the downtown area of Caen. We were driving back home across Europe and arrived here needing a room late in the evening as another hotel had let us down. They could not have been nicer. Sweet friendly staff, kind to our son, very helpful. Yes, the rooms are small but it was just for the night and they were clean and comfortable. We got here too late for any restaurants to be open but the McDonald's is a couple of minutes walk away so we didn't starve! Lots of parking (we were pulling a trailer and there was no problem getting two spaces for the car and trailer). Parking is secure. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Big supermarket very close by, which was handy to pick up a few French groceries before we left!
