📍 Via Piolet, 6, Breuil-Cervinia

"Great week at Cristallo, right mix of quality food, drinks, spa and entertainment. The kids club here is awesome - the team was great with our children, and allowed us to ski with peace of mind in the afternoons. They loved going there every day. It's 4 stars because still a few things to iron out in terms of front desk coordination and buses to the slopes - but we will be back again soon."

White Angel Hotel ★★★★

📍 Via Giomein, 52, Breuil-Cervinia

"This is a great little hotel, right on the slopes with amazing views. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Comfortable rooms, lovely bar and restaurant. Didn’t use the spa but heard only good things about it. It’s ski in ski out, only slight downside to that is the run it’s on is a red, so you need to be confident enough to handle that. Could also do with a bit of signposting when you return to the hotel as the ski in entrance is easy to miss. Definitely going back."

Sertorelli Sporthotel

Sertorelli Sporthotel ★★★★

📍 Via Guido Rey, 28, Breuil-Cervinia

"Sertorelli offers a wide range of facilities, including a recently modernised spa zone with various types of sauna, baths etc to ease tired muscles. What really made our stay special was the team’s service - especially Luca on reception and Christian and Julian in the (fantastic) restaurant. Dietary restrictions were not just accommodated - but made to delight, with special meals prepared to my son’s request. Shuttle bus takes you the few mins to and from the gondola. All in all, a very relaxing stay."

Hotel Principe Delle Nevi

Hotel Principe Delle Nevi ★★★★

📍 Strada Giomein 46, Breuil-Cervinia

"What I’ve experienced so far has convinced me that this is the only place I will stay at when I’m in Cervinia. From the time of booking, the owners and staff at Principe delle Nevi have been nothing but accommodating and helpful. They helped me with my taxi booking, and recommended places I could rent my snowboarding gear from. Upon reaching and entering my room, I was wowed by the fantastic view of the mountains and the picturesque village. Breakfast and dinner were part of my room booking, and I have to say, the quality of the food and attentiveness of service is what I would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Whenever I had to go to town for my snowboarding lessons and be picked up after, the hotel complimentary taxi service would always be there to assist. In addition, the staff here are also fluent in English, and I appreciate that very much. I would recommend anyone visiting Cervinia to stay with Principe delle Nevi, and the hospitality they’ve been kind enough to extend me has definitely made me feel like this is my home away from home."

Art Hotel Grivola

Art Hotel Grivola ★★★★

📍 Via Jean Antoine Carrel, Breuil-Cervinia

"Very good location near ski lifts. Bed and pillows are excellent and the breakfast is enough to get the day well started. The staff was very helpful and polite. Also cleaning was in excellent level. Rooms and hallways are beginning to be a bit old. Heating is okay, but air circulation in rooms is poor and moisture level gets high when staying in the room. Smell in carpets and structures is covered with perfumes, which is not a good solution for asthmatic guests. Ski room was a plus. Would rate this hotel solid three stars."

"We had a wonderful stay at this ski-in/ski-out hotel. Everything was incredibly convenient — from the on-site ski rental to the great choice of restaurants each evening. The afternoon and evening shows added a really nice touch, and there were plenty of well-organized activities beyond skiing to keep things interesting. A special thank you to Beatrice for her great recommendations — they truly made our stay even more special. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time."

"this a hotel trying to be a 4 star but comes up short! we were charged 3 euros for a bottle of tap water every night at dinner when it should be free they refill the bottles not what you would expect for a proper 4 star hotel, the heating system in our room was hit and miss, must be on timer for the whole hotel, also got charged 15 euros for the use of a kettle was told our room wasn't on the list for 1 as only a comfort room we have stayed in 3 star hotels and had tea and coffee making facilities in the room free of charge. these may seam trivial but these should be free in a 4 star hotel, the rest of the service was very good the room cleaned every day and sheets changed regularly, the food was top notch breakfast had a good selection and the waiters were on the ball. We would stay there again but will take our own kettle and will not have the water at dinner unless it is free."

"The hotel is strategically located, and you can see the Matterhorn from its rooms. The room was clean, and everything was well maintained. I’d like to give a special mention to the staff at the Opera restaurant—especially sommelier Vlady, as well as Francesca and Michaella. We were truly satisfied—I highly recommend it!"

Hotel Principe Delle Nevi ★★★★
"Brilliant location in a lovely resort. Cervinia is not the most picturesque or lively village in the Alps but the surrounding mountains are stunning with great intermediate skiing. The hotel is ski-in/out and really well located at the top of the town. Even with the benefit of a couple of weeks of post-holiday reality to reflect, everything was wonderful. It manages to combine a modern laid back vibe with coziness and a really friendly family feel. The food is, without exception, fantastic. Generally nothing is too much trouble for the staff - for example they were always happy to give us a lift down to, and more importantly, up from the centre of the village even though it's only 5 mins. All this before I ended up in hospital for a scan with concussion (entirely self inflicted) - they couldn't have been more helpful to my wife, enquired about how I was getting on and laid on a great and much needed spread of food when we got back at midnight."

Art Hotel Grivola ★★★★
"We have just returned from spending 10 disappointing nights in this hotel. As we have been on extended travels over the winter, I needed to find somewhere in Cervinia that didn't blow the budget, to enable us to still go skiing at end of season. We were offered a choice of three hotels by our travel agent (one of which was the Sertorelli, can't remember the other) and I chose Grivola on the basis it was near to the Cretaz lift. I had read all the reviews and was aware that whilst it may claim to be a 4-star (adhering to all Italian standards yes, but it's not to the standard of an international 4-star) it doesn't have great reviews. I wish I had paid more heed to the reviews and booked the Sertorelli instead - caveat emptor for me. We were placed in room 101 which is one of only two rooms on the first floor of the hotel (the rest is reception, lounge area (barely used) and the manager's office. Adjacent to us (and probably interconnecting) was room 102, which seemed to have a revolving door of people staying in it one or two nights, for the first 5 days of our trip (after that a nice America family arrived and things improved). The main issue with room 101 is that it has no sound proofing and the walls, ceiling and floor are all wooden. There was incessant noise from the restaurant below, people above (some of whom sounded like they were pounding the floor in their ski boots at all times of night and day), people shouting in the street at kicking out time, and noise from room 102. The bathroom of 102 is next to the bed of room 101 - you can literally hear everything. Three times in the first five days we were woken in the night by noise from next door, and I had to go and speak to the people to ask them to be quiet (not because they were partying, but just because every sound was carrying). Overall I think we had disturbed sleep on 9 out of the 10 nights we were there. I could have said something to management but as there was no hope of fixing the soundproofing in the room, it didn't seem worth it. I also am not certain that this was the room we actually paid for (standard versus superior) so I was worried about being moved to a much smaller room if we complained. In terms of facilities, the bath in room 101 was slippery and difficult to get in and out of. I am not a geriatric but I was worried about falling in it - we also could never get sufficient hot water to run a nice full, hot bath post-skiing (I never usually take baths apart from when we're in the mountains, so I always make sure we have one in the room). There were no tea / coffee making facilities and the fridge was stocked with glass bottles, even though there was a sign in the room to say no glass should be in the room. I have never previously been in a hotel where glass is banned generally, so that was most odd - this meant for example you could not take a drink up from the bar to your room. Finally we found most of the staff to be unfriendly / unhelpful, which was a "

"This is the second time I've been to this hotel, and whilst it is spacious, well run and well located - it does need some improvements. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which consists of a twin bed, which can be a double, plus a single, with a further pull-out single underneath. As we were two guys, we flipped a coin as to who had the double and who had the single. Perhaps if they replaced the single with a sofa bed, then two people could each have a double? The room is perfectly comfortable and spacious for two, but is not really ideal for three adults. The décor is a bit retro, and the bathroom could do with a refresh too. Don't get me wrong - it's not tatty, just not up to date. Breakfast is okay, but more limited than I have experienced in other similar (even less expensive) hotels. Dinner is generally very good, with a starter, first course and main course - all à la carte, and ordered at the time - not at breakfast. Service is generally good. Housekeeping is very good. The hotel gets you a 20% discount off ski rental at a shop that's 2 minutes walk away too. The boot room is still poor. It is small, out of date and only accessible from the slopes via a 4 person service lift. I don't know how they can improve the lift, but the room, lockers and ski storage are desperate for an update."

Hotel Petit Palais ★★★
"The hotel has beautiful views of the Matterhorn and is a short walk to the main gondola, although can sometimes be a slippery walk to it. The walk into town is approximately 10-15 minutes down some slippery steps. The walk from where the coach drops you off is also 10-15 minutes uphill, most other hotels put on a mini bus but this hotel just transport your suitcases. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are perfectly adequate. The food here is just ok, the hot and cold starters are self service with the hot starters usually being cold - we avoid any chicken or fish hot starters just in case. The next two courses are table service but small portions- you select your choice at dinner for the following day. In general the food was ok if the hot starters had been warm the amount of food would have been fine. The ski hire in the shop had limited options and was worn compared to the hire shop quality in town. The boot room isn’t big enough for the amount of guests and skis and snowboards are dumped on top of other skis. It’s a three star hotel, hopefully the hotel listen to the reviews and try to improve the food and ski hire. I would still go back to the hotel due to the price however I would probably hire skis etc from the town next time. I would also ask for a Mountain View room as it’s stunning."
