Barrass's John Bright Motor Inn ★★★★
"Close to the city center, very convenient. The room is clean, but you need to ask for bath supplies and coffee and milk tea. The room is very small. There is a washing machine, but the dryer costs $2 and half an hour. ."
Hara House ★★★★
"It was good, nice amenities but restricted service. Reception open just a few hours."
Discovery Parks - Mount Buffalo ★★
"so good! such a nice and spacious place with anything you may need - oven, stovetop, fridge, dining table and much more. great value for money and excellent staff service even when checking in after hours. very much recommend for groups of 2-4 staying on a budget."
Bright on Track ★★★★
"It was very nice stay at Bright"
Discovery Parks - Bright ★★★
"Love the park! Will come back again. The cabin is clean and cosy."
Bright Porepunkah Holiday Park ★★★★
"Was a last minute booking 3 night stay to ride the rail trail. Cabin was spacious and suitable for me and my bike. The Heater was already on when I arrived as I was a late check in. Was very lovely to walk into a warm cabin. Location was perfect for me right opposite the Rail trail and close to Porepunkah. Day 1 road from caravan park to Harrietville and back. With a stop off for a Porter on the way back. Day 2 road to Myrtleford and back in morning. Spent afternoon exploring Mt Buffalo. Very enjoyable stay."
Alpine Riverside Cottages ★★★
"Three star accommodation with ten star experience! From our first interaction with Erin til we left, our stay was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, newly renovated self contained studio apartment, with full kitchen facilities, right on the river bank, birdlife, comfy bed, good quality bed linen, towels etc… and the list goes on!!! Highly recommend Room 10 (Platypus) for a quiet break “ between seasons” . I guess it is very popular and much more energetic in peak season, but in late August the weather was mild and there were few neighbours!"
Harrietville Hotel Motel ★★★★
"Excellent overall. Beautiful area to stay in"
Mountain Creek Motel Bar & Restaurant ★★★
"My wife and I stayed here last night. The manager, an Indian gentleman from Delhi named Lucky, was great. Lucky is also the chef and if you like reasonably priced, good quality Indian cuisine then this place is for you. The restaurant/bar area is much better than expected and comes with great views of the local Tawonga/Mt Beauty area. We'd been camping in the Alpine Park reserve so were able to wash our clothes in the Motel's machine & drier - great! We also washed up all our dishes in their kitchen so we're good to go again. We even had a great swim n their pool before we went for dinner. The room's are great with comfortable beds and everything you need, including full cream UHT milk in the fridge. Rooms even come with a balcony complete with tables and chairs. Really recommend it."

Chestnut Tree Holiday Units
"We really enjoyed our stay at Chestnut Tree Holiday Apartments. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and really well appointed. The 2 km walk into the town of Bright was an easy walk and a good way to start and finish a night out. The grounds of the property were well looked after - the time of year we went, made it too cold to use the outside facilities. I will definitely try to stay there the next time we're in Bright"
Riverbank Park Motel
"The location is excellent, and the river view from the room is beautiful. However, the stairs leading to the upper-level room felt a bit shaky and were not very comfortable to use. We didn't feel confident letting our kids use them on their own, so families with young children may want to keep this in mind."
Nrma Bright Holiday Park
"We have been staying at the Bright NRMA caravan park for many years. Unfortunately over the last few years we have noticed a steady decline in the service and cleanliness of the park. This year, the toilets on our side of the park were filthy. I spoke to reception multiple times about the overflowing bin in the ladies toilets, along with the smeared faeces under the toilet bowl (which was still there after 4 days). Only 1 of 3 toilets had toilet paper. I could only find 1 working washing machine in two of the laundry areas. Each time I spoke to somebody at reception I was told the issues would be rectified, but they never were. After reading other reviews on this site, it is clear that this is a common occurrence of late. Considering the very high fees of unpowered sites and the unsanitary conditions, we will be staying elsewhere next year."
Porepunkah Pines Holiday Park
"Arrived at the Park and was greeted by Narelle one of the Managers. Was very professional , helpful and had a great sense of humour. Felt very welcomed, Narelle would stop and say hello also made sure all was ok with accommodation etc. Gave us great info about the area to what we could go and do or eat. Loved the lawns that were kept nice down near the creek, camp kitchen was great too. Walking track into porepunkah to the eateries etc. Have booked again! Would definitely recommend this caravan park!!! Greg and Angelina Huddle Deniliquin NSW"
Bright Velo
"Comfortable rooms with friendly staff. The Velo is in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants and facilities, but it was also quiet. There is free parking. Free wi-fi was available and while a little slow was usable."
The Harrietville Snowline Hotel
"Please never go to this motel the stole 155 dollars of my money called them to book accommodation told to go online once payment was made we arrived pub and motel has been closed down indefinitely next day we finally got a hold of someone they were not willing to return they money absolute disgusting"
Big4 Tasman Holiday Parks - Bright
"The room had a strong curry smell; new tenants should have removed the smell before moving in. Also, after sleeping there one night, the bed felt unclean, and I developed a rash."
Bright Riverside Holiday Park
"We bring outdoor education groups here to learn whitewater canoeing in winter. There is no park better situated for teaching beginners how to Canoe, with direct river frontage right above a rapid, and with ideal camping facilities, heated bathrooms and a beautiful modern kitchen dining room facility. All adds up to a great day on the river, then some comforts at night to prepare for the next day. Ideal time for whitewater paddling June to September when the river is running high"
Bright on the River
Merrimeet Cottages
"Stayed in the upstairs Mews apartment. We loved sitting on the outside deck overlooking the beautiful gardens for breakfast and in the cool of the evening. Though warm in summer, the air conditioner kept the place cool. Spacious unit and comfortable."
The Odd Frog
"Such a delightful setting. Helpful and specific instructions and super helpful hosts James and Kylie. Always available for communication & to do the extra things we needed. The Odd Frog was a perfect place to explore the area. Our accommodation was great. Kitchen utensils all very good. The fire was so warm. And plenty of wood to keep us cosy. We are sure to recommend and visit again. Thanks"
Bright Mystic Valley
"A great place to stay. Stone walls. Well thought out designs and tasteful decor. Meticulously presented. Quiet, overlooking a pretty sweeping garden. Elegant. Great friendly, accommodating service, with everything thought of to ensure a pleasant, relaxed stay."
