A small hotel very close to the beach, the facilities are average, the rooms are small, wooden stairs, very old-fashioned British houses. It is very close to the beach on foot, and you can reach the beach in a few steps. It is close to the city center attractions, and you can walk to the Royal Pavilion in a few minutes. There are some small streets and alleys around, with food, drinks, supermarkets and small commodity shops. There is a public parking lot in front of the hotel where you can park along the street, but whether there is a spot depends on luck. There is nothing special about the hotel's appearance, and I only took pictures of the surrounding streets.

I want to start off with saying I appreciate that the owner was very kind and was trying to be thoughtful giving myself and my friend an upgrade to a larger room. The price was good and the staff were overall very nice. I liked that there was the offer to leave our bags after we checked out if we needed it. The location was also great and everything was a short, brisk walk to access. However, the reason for my low rating is that we got the largest double room beneath the main entrance/breakfast room and you could hear everything. From the front door and walkway opening and closing, to the guests in other nearby rooms. Breakfast started early and every step woke us up. Additionally the twin beds were initially apart and were set up under headlamps which I rather painfully hit my head on, so my friend and I had to push the beds together to avoid further injury. The heat didn’t turn on like we thought it would, (fortunately a little heater was provided and that was enough for the room) and the bathroom while clean, had some damage that was concerning, and no shower curtain so it was hard to keep the water in the tub (although the tub itself was spectacular). All in all I think the location is great, and convenient, and maybe if we’d had a higher floor some of the noise wouldn’t have been a problem.
