On the pricey end of hotels in Brighton, the room very simple and old fashioned. No real complaints staff are very friendly. Getting the bags to the room is difficulty so I wouldn't recommend to someone with reduced mobility. But overall great view and nice staff.

Unfortunately, the rooms are not cleaned thoroughly. Headboard was full of dust, wall had trainer marks, spillage of drink AND none of the skirting boards were wiped down. They have ao much dust its built up. Not hoovered under furniture, including under the bed or in the corner. I also noticed the skirting are full of dust in the reception area. Breakfast room was not clean the floor had so much crumbs and again, skirting full of dirt and dust. There should be no excuse made when you pay that kind of money. Its nothing to do with being busy, lack of staff. Cleaning is not acceptable at all and let's this place down. Staff are nice, breakfast is well catered for. I had reported this to reception.

The room needed work, windows didnt open or close properly and was filthy, damp patch on ceiling , mattress topper dirty, very uneven sqeaky floor , staff very friendly breakfast was good..

Good stay Staff were helpful after a problem on day one about the window in my room being broken and very noisy. Once my room move was agreed I had a great time. The staff at breakfast time are supurb

My review Generally good. Room was reasonable size and had a nice sea view and the beds were comfortable. However, furnishings were dated and there was limited storage space. There was no lock on the bathroom door and the catch was faulty with the result that occasionally the door would swing open at, shall we say, embarrassing moments. Also, the morning after our first night the bed had not been made. Overall the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good.

Basic needs updating but very clean. The room was very small and very basic. It needs updating. However, it was very clean with clean sheets and towels every day.
