I booked for myself and my sister for a night away for our Birthdays. We had a lovely stay, our room was upgraded and we had a wonderful sea view. We were given a lovely gift which was so kind and thoughtful and really made our stay extra special. The room was large, with a seating area and a very huge comfy bed. Everything we needed for a relaxing night away. Robes & Slippers Perfect Buffet breakfast was very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. We shall definitely return. Thank you so much x

The location was on the right in front of the sea and also had a quick access to the Main Street from the rear entrance. We had a spacious room big enough for 2 bikes and good cooked breakfast in the morning. Although we had an incident - our luggage didn’t arrive on time prior to stay but they were very helpful to supply amenities and essential information to us. Would recommend to anyone!

Room was clean, view was stunning. But the bed was horrible 😞 You will literally sink in and wake up with back pain. I expected more and better for an executive room.

Hotel is nice however rooms could be cleaner, smell wasn’t great in room. Cost of parking is outrageous so won’t be staying again unfortunately.

The hotel's location is a definite highlight—it’s just a two-minute walk from the bustling Brighton Pier and a stone's throw from some fantastic independent coffee shops and restaurants. This made exploring the city on foot incredibly easy and convenient. The staff were a particular standout. From the moment we checked in, the front desk team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. They provided us with a map and some excellent recommendations for local places to eat, which were spot on. Our room was also a great feature; it was spacious, very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel. While my stay was largely positive, there were a couple of minor issues that kept it from being a perfect 5-star experience. Overall, I would highly recommend the Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton particularly for those looking for a great location and a comfortable stay. The fantastic staff and clean, well-appointed rooms make it an excellent choice for a weekend getaway. While there are a few small areas for improvement, I would certainly consider staying here again on my next visit to Brighton.

Good location! Sauna and steam room are tiny so best to visit in the early morning as its less crowded! Cocktails at the bar are amazing! Loved the long island ice tea! Only thing is the toilet water in the room didnt flush properly! Had to keep flushing!

Pros: This hotel is a stone throw away from the beach and commercial areas. Clean rooms and facility. I like the spa facility because they have gym, pool, steam room, and sauna. It’s very relaxing. Our breakfast is the highlight of our stay. Lots of food choices with a view of the beach and Brighton pier. Staff are friendly and accomodating. I like the online checkout, it’s a time saver. Cons: I am disappointed because I booked a superior room with sea view but they gave me a partial sea view instead. Didn’t bother to ask because I was very exhausted after a long trip. Our bathroom has a rusty shower head and bath drainage. Didn’t managed to go to the sauna because it’s jampacked. Overall, good experience.

I have stayed at 3 other hotels on Brighton Waterfront and this I have to say was the best! The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast an awesome wide selection all fresh fruit, juice and chef to make pancakes or omelettes if they are your thing fresh!!! The comfort was perfect! Easy to fall a sleep quickly. Spacious. Sound proof rooms and the curtains black out so not to be kept awake from the lighting and noise outside. I most definitely will be back again.

Great stay

While the weather was not great, the hotel definitely did a superb job of accommodating our Brighton trip.
