Bukirk Glamping & Luxury Cabins

Highly recommend Bukirk Glamping and Fancy Coops! I've been here on 2 occasions with my partner and stayed in the Cluckingham Palace coop both times. The facilities in the coops and communal areas are more than ample and the spacious surroundings, pool, and animals really make the experience unique. The owner, Alison (aka Chook), is an brilliant and hospitable host who never fails to assist with planning our adventures around Clare for the duration of our stay (e.g. wine touring, places to dine, activities). There's plenty to do around the area if you want to keep busy and the property itself offers an awesome environment to kick back and relax in if that's more your style. Overall, this is a wonderful place to spend your holidays, particularly for animal lovers. (If you want to feed the resident pig, Kevin Bacon or Kevvy, some of his favourites are watermelon, apples and carrots!)

5/5 for our glamping experience, we stayed in the Nesting Box, very classy, comfortable. Love spending time at the community kitchen, meet some other lovely guests. Loved feeding the animals, especially Kevin Bacon the pig. Chook and Was the hosts are fabulous people. Thank you loved our stay ❤️

Fabulous experience... and it is an experience, not a hotel stay. Alison was a fabulous and enthusiastic hostess. The grounds are so special and unique. The accommodation was cute, and the king bed do comfy. A beautiful space with a fireplace to relax, and furry friends to go and meet, feed and drink with.

We had the most amazing New Year’s girls trip at Bukirk Glamping! The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the facilities were incredible – from the refreshing pool to the BBQ area, games, and endless cosy spots to relax and socialise, there was always something to do and somewhere to chill out together. A huge shoutout to Chook, our wonderful host, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. She even surprised us with balloons and birthday treats for one of the girls, which made the celebration so memorable. Her warmth, hospitality, and thoughtful touches really set this place apart. Bukirk Glamping has to be South Australia’s biggest secret – a hidden gem that’s perfect for a girls getaway. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We had a winter weekend birthday with friends at the wonderful and quirky Bukirk very close but far enough away from the town ship of Clare. The owner is super friendly and helpful, and very funny. She has created an amazing set up with tents and coops suitably positioned apart from each other with a lovely central semi outdoor kitchen and lounge nestled among lovely gardens and garden art. Being winter we made good use of the outdoor fire. The Glamping tent we stayed in really was glamping with super comfy warm bed, luxurious fittings and separate private ensuite with flushing toilet, hot shower and heating. This place is 5 star and we will be back!

We stayed overnight in one of the coops - what a beautifully appointed glamping experience! Campfire and pizzas under the stars and a beautiful quiet sleep in, waking up to the farm animals and sunrise! So many little thoughtful ideas in the coop - Alison has really captured a rustic, romantic, getaway! Just what we needed and not far from Clare to explore the town, local wineries and restaurants! We will be back - we especially enjoyed helping roll out the hay! :)
