I’m going to make this a very honest review, I’m not going to sugar coat anything. From the offset we knew that the transfer from the airport to the hotel was almost 2hrs but because the flight is only 2ish hours from Gatwick we did not mind the transfer time. We were lucky that TUI had arranged a private transfer. We were a party of 4 and shared the transfer with one other couple. It was pretty smooth but there had been a fire on route so we had to take a detour but no ones fault. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks. We arrived before check in time so they gave us our wrist bands and said we could enjoy the facilities and come back to check on the status of our rooms. We went to the main restaurant for our lunch, food was plentiful and there was plenty of choice. I’m extremely fussy but was happy to see freshly cooking chucking and fish and plenty of lovely salads breads etc. After our lunch we went back to reception to be told our room was now ready but my sisters room was not, we went to our room which was 0805 in the main block. The view from our room was absolutely spectacular. The room itself was spacious, clean, plenty of storage and plenty of plugs. The wardrobe had quite a few hangers and also there was an umbrella(not that we needed it) and a hairdryer in the bathroom. There was a fridge with still water and sparkling water and also kettle with tea coffee milk sugar etc. The bed was humongous and comfortable. The room was very modern and the bathroom was nice and had a very powerful rain fall shower. Aircon was a life saver. We made our way to the pool which is actually much bigger then it looks on the tui app. There was a jacuzzi and a bar which also done hot and cold food between certain times. There were plenty of sun beds and as our stay went on and it got busier they got more sun beds and umbrellas out to accommodate guests. The beach is very stony so make sure you have beach shoes. The sea is so clear and beautiful. From the hotel even though it seems secluded you can walk the coastal path in either direction. To the right as you come out of the hotel and follow the path it leads to an area where there are bars restaurants and a small marina where you can hire a boat. There are also quaint little bays where locals use the beaches with their children. If you turn left out of the hotel there is A lovely walk which is longer but be warned you will walk through a modest beach/area which is signposted. There is a bar and restaurant and also a shop. Back to the hotel, there are 2 shops which sell lots of things but is a little expensive. There are plenty of bars in the hotel, if you want premium drinks like JD or southern comfort there is an additional charge but it’s much cheaper then what you’d pay in a British pub!!!! The entertainment was actually really good, they had live music most nights which did not disappoint. If you download the tui blue app you can see wh

Really enjoyed our holiday at TUI Blue Adriatic Beach. We did our research before booking so were aware that the transfer from the airport was 2 hours and the hotel had a lot of steps. Check in was really easy, there were welcome drinks and everything was organised to get everything completed quickly. We booked a swim up room and it was one of the best decisions we made. It was so nice to have our own loungers and enjoy the privacy of your own pool. We didn’t really venture down to the main pool but it always looked pretty full. The sun didn’t reach our pool until around 11:30am. The room was spacious and modern. I found the bed to be comfortable - firm but I like that. I always really enjoyed the food. There were obviously some repeats but that’s expected at every all inclusive. There was always a different meat or fish on for dinner (kebab night was our fave) and plenty of choice for salads and sides. There was also pizza, pasta and chips if that’s what you like. The dessert selection is great and they are always replenishing dishes. The staff work really hard. We never went without a drink. We had a meal in the Culinarium and loved it, I recommend the steak and the chocolate and peanut butter warm cake. Evening entertainment was actually really good. They had a good selection of live music and quizzes. The cocktails are basic but I can’t complain, I had access to all the Aperol Spritz’ I wanted. The wine was very drinkable, as was the beer. We did struggle to find seats on the outside terrace a few times but never waited more than 15 minutes for a table to become free. TUI reps are friendly - it’s useful to attend the welcome meeting. They put on lots of entertainment throughout the day - useful to have the app to see timings/make bookings. We booked trips - Dubrovnik tour and a lunch boat trip to Hvar and Brac. Really enjoyed these and they were worth the money. The surroundings of the hotel are really beautiful. The beach is stoney so bring water shoes but the water is crystal clear. It’s a nice walk either side. Only issues we had were that one night I heard talking and giggling outside. I opened the curtains to find five teenagers in our pool. Luckily I’m comfortable with telling them to clear off (they did) but I can imagine this would really spook someone more vulnerable. Security came down quickly and chased them out of the hotel. There was no follow up regarding this the next day.. I’m not too fussed but I also imagine other people may have wanted some reassurance. The housekeeping could have been better, our terrace wasn’t swept at all during our stay and it had been a bit windy so there were a lot of leaves etc. Overall, really recommend and will most likely be back in the near future.

The hotel is very pleasant. The superior double sea view room was very good. The one HUGE drawback are the number of steps to get anywhere in the hotel and grounds. We received no assistance with our suitcases to get to the room. There were steps to negotiate with heavy bags before we could get to the lift. A big NEGATIVE. The food in the main restaurant was ok, but very repetitive. The salad bar needed to be kept filled, it was usually short of two or three main ingredients. The maitre d was more interested in chasing up the waiters than to keep an eye on food levels. Marianne stood out as the best of the waiters. The main bars in the hotel were very good (thanks Maria) but the quality of the drinks at the pool bar was quite variable, despite the alcohol and mixers being automatically dispensed by a machine. Ken was very good, but there was a Mr Grumpy in there too. It was always very busy and was very hot too when we were there, so it was hard for them to have to work under those conditions. They would always add more alcohol in the drink if you asked for it to be a bit stronger. The alternative sunbathing area looked like it had hurriedly been put together since the beach was now public and the sunbeds there was run by a private concern. The charge was 12 euro per sunber and 6 euro an umbrella - a whopping 30 euro a day. There were enough sunbeds (just) with the pool and this additional area, but umbrellas and bases were in short supply. That said, I had to ask a number of people sitting in the shade of the trees, if I could have their umbrella. One or two refused but on the whole gave it up. STEPS - the brochure says some steps. There were 100 from the lowest lift point to the sunbed area. That means 100 down in the morning, 100 back up for lunch, 100 back down and 100 back up at the end of the day. This should be made more clear in the brochure. Not just say some steps! We hired a small boat from a beach guy in Mala Duba, about 1km to the left of the hotel and went across to Hvar (4th biggest Croatian island) and headed east, round the end to the small port of Sucuraj, where we had a delightful pizza, calamari and salad, 5 beers and a water for 50 Euro. Then back along the coast to the hotel where I took those pictures. If you dont want to do it yourself, a round the bay a boat trip goes from Zivogosce harbour 800m to the right of the hotel for 40 euro with lunch and wine.

We are here at the moment. It's a lovely hotel, the scenery is beautiful and the weather fantastic. Room cleaned daily, fresh towels and bedding, we have a superior room with partial sea view, which is pretty much a great sea view. We do however have swifts nesting outside on the balcony roof, everyone in our block has them so there is quite a bit off mess on the floor but it's cleaned daily and hasn't put us off. The bedroom itself is lovely, the best thing about this hotel is the staff, they are so friendly and welcoming, on the downside the food isn't the best, it's very repetitive, lunch tends to be better than the evening meal, we have started to go to solar snack bar in porat, 5 minute walk and the food is great. Cocktails are out of a machine so very sugary, wine is ok, prosecco ok and beer is nice. We haven't really had a problem with sun loungers round the pool, we are here to relax and not getting up at 7 to get two, we always find a couple no matter what time, doesn't always have an umbrella but you get hot you go in the pool, beach is very pebbly so you need beach shoes, we went snorkeling and saw lots of fish. We did notice that today the price of the sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach had increased, gone from 25 euro to 30 euro, might be change over day and because its getting busier they want more money. There is an al a carte restaurant where you can have a meal one night included (but of you want a bottle of wine you need to pay) it's around 30 euros. All in all it's a nice place, big shout out to the coffee bar, fantastic coffee , don't get it out of the machines it's not so good, so would we return, yes we would, there are far more positives than negatives and I believe from next June the sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are free.

One of the best holidays I've ever had. The staff make this place, all lovely and friendly. Lots to do and plenty to see if you do want to leave the hotel. Clean hotel, varied food and excellent drinks quality/variety. People need to read the hotel details - there are steps and lots of them! I wouldn't recommend booking this place if you have mobility issues. If you do, don't complain to the staff. You all know before you get there!! This is an amazing hotel.
