The reception staff were helpful and friendly and responded to any requests promptly. Premier Inn is a place where you know what to expect. Most importantly the bed is very comfortable. The rooms have everything you need but a couple of small drawers would be useful, so you could put away small items out of sight. There was a drawer beneath the long mirror but this was SO stiff to open and then to close again that we didn't bother. Was going to mention this to reception but somehow we overlooked to do this. Big plus for this hotel was how close the coach station was as we came by National Express. As for Brewers Fayre, OK, food typical pub grub, new potatoes would be nice, chips (with skin on) with almost everything. The lasagne is particularly good. However, the service was SO slow, even when the restaurant wasn't busy.
