Channings Hotel by Greene King Inns

Clifton
We had a wonderful time at this charming hotel, as if we were staying in a merchant's house. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making our experience truly memorable. The hotel provided a fantastic opportunity to relax and explore all that the historic city of Bristol has to offer, including the 6 O'clock Gin Distillery, the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. We have to give a special thanks to Graca, Millia and Nushu from the pub who made our evenings truly enjoyable. The kitchen also offered excellent breakfasts. We were left full of impressions from this city of once a wealthy merchant, and now a young student thanks to the University of Bristol.

Booked one of the Mews houses for us, our daughter and her boyfriend to stay in on the night of the night of her graduation. It was perfect. 2 bedrooms plenty large enough, both can be set up with large double bed or twins. One is ensuite and there's a separate bathroom. Robes, slippers and L'Occitane toiletries provided. The bedrooms and utility room are downstairs with a good sized open plan living area upstairs. Fairly well equipped kitchen as far as I could tell. ( we didn't cook but I checked). Furnishings and fittings are obviously fairly new and everything is good quality and the whole place was spotless. In short we absolutely couldn't fault it. Our only regret? That we weren't staying longer. For anyone looking for accommodation near the University of Bristol it's close and I'd absolutely recommend this place

Incredible staff. That’s the first thing to stay, they really make the difference. The hotel itself is very on trend, you get a free cocktail on arrival, and the breakfast which isn’t expensive, is good. The room is very comfy and well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the shower room, although small, was more than adequate. It’s all about the staff though, incredible service.
Ibis Bristol Centre

We needed to be near the Cathedral for a Graduation ceremony and the Ibis was a 5 minute walk away. Reception on arrival was quick & efficient. The bedroom (320) and bathroom were clean and appeared to have been totally renovated very recently. Everything worked as it should. There was some background noise from the air-con on a nearby building but this did not prove to be a problem for us when the window was closed. A very fullsome buffet breakfast was enjoyed. We took advantage of the secure luggage room after vacating the bedroom. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant, polite and helpful. We parked at the nearby Britannia Car Park (which was clean and well lit) and the Ibis reception processed our parking ticket which resulted in up to 24 hour parking costing £10 instead of £17. Checkout was painless. Would we stay again? Yes - but for only one or two nights.

Marriott's Derta Hotel is located in the center of Bristol. The transportation is very convenient. There are large shopping malls nearby. The service of the hotel is also very good, but the facilities are a bit outdated. This time I came to Bristol for the Aircraft Museum and the Britannia Steamship. These two places are really worth taking children to see.
CLAYTON HOTEL BRISTOL CITY

The hotel is in the city, and the transportation to the scenic spots is very convenient. It is highly recommended. The hotel is fully equipped, the sanitation environment is good, and the service attitude is very satisfactory. I may consider coming again next time
