Recently stayed at the newly opened Residence Inn at Bromont. This is a ski-in/out property with access to the ski lifts a few steps away from the Soleil chair. What impressed me the most was that all amenities were available at opening including the heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, fitness, games room and the cozy, elegant Cabinn restaurant. The hotel is part of the Marriott Bonvoy program and my Platinum Elite status was very well recognized and a nice room upgrade much appreciated. Staff at reception and the restaurant are very friendly and engaged. All rooms have kitchens ( no oven but cooktop) and a spacious layout to relax and enjoy the views of either the slopes or surrounding area. Breakfast is included and has a basic offering of eggs, potatoes, cereals, yogurt, fruits, pastries etc ..and excellent coffee! The attached Cabinn Restaurant is a great place to “Apres-Ski” and dine…reminiscent of a European ski destination experience. If you like burgers you’ll love theirs with the unique addition of dipping gravy on the side! In summary I find that Ski Bromont is an excellent mountain for all skiers and the new Residence Inn truly adds to the full experience of a wonderful ski vacation.
