Salisbury Arms Hotel

This exceeded our expectations in many ways. Firstly, we hadn’t realised there was a car park for the hotel but called in advance for parking advice, when we were told about the parking and given very clear directions to it. The interior of the hotel is very cosy and full of character. It looked recently refurbished and the decor was lovely. Our King Room was beautiful and large. Fresh milk provided for tea. Nespresso machine. Comfy bed, nice shower. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the morning. Food is exceptional. All staff very helpful and pleasant. Would very highly recommend.

My sister and I booked a twin room as we were going to see Paul young at the BEAM Theatre in Hertford. Our room wasn't a twin. I pointed this out and James not only sorted out another room we also got a drink each whilst being sorted. James went above and beyond. The staff were all great. The breakfast omg was amazing. My sister and I met pail young V.I.P. Tickets and had a great time. Our hotel experience 10/10. Would recommend to anyone. Great stay. Thankyou again.

What a great hotel. Traditional with modern approach. Super friendly and efficient staff. Very professional. Quaint but high end.

On arriving in Hertford early evening I really liked the look and feel of the town, arriving at the hotel, I was very pleased by the appearance and decor, the room was most impressive and en-suite. After a quick change had to depart to meet customers in Welwyn. Enjoyed a beautiful breakfast before departing for meetings. I will definitely return for a more leisurely visit.

I spent two nights at the Salisbury as attending a Family Funeral in the Town. The Snug Room was perfect and extremely well equipped with nice touches like fresh Milk although the Hand cream/Body Lotion was difficult to use as more or less empty. I checked in, in person as both the text and email didn't look professional although the Hotel did confirm that they were not Scam messages. I checked out in person as well as online had been overcharged. The Breakfast service on my first morning (Friday) was poor from a hospitality point of view. There was no-one in the Breakfast Room so I helped myself to Tea and the Buffet selection. A member of Staff came in and arranged some items on a table but there was no acknowledgement that I was there as was the case with other Staff getting a cuppa before work. Eventually a Lady came in who asked for my Room number and gave me a Menu but by then I was full up. Hence 4/5.

Great hotel, we had a very small wedding reception in the snug and it was perfect for what we wanted. The staff were brilliant, they were always on hand for anything we needed and so friendly. The food was delicious too! We stayed overnight and our room was beautiful.
